I don't know if anyone has brought out already.

From the Nurnberg Toy Fair, this video has been taken and (starting from 1:10) you can see the actual figure of Series 4 (as well as Series 5)

Cool Vid!

Strange that the packaging for series 5 is almost the same colour as series 2?

the guy with the ax look like Paul Bunyan?

The gladiator looks really good

The gangster has a guitar case.

the dwarf and godzilla suit guy look great

I really like the series!

I notice that the Hazmat guy might very well be Flame Yellowish Orange (the color of the Fisherman's pants, which Bricklink calls Bright Light Orange and BIONICLE fans call Keetorange) rather than regular Bright Orange. I don't mind that one bit.

That's the only new thing I noticed about the Series 4 figs here. The orange packages are pretty awesome-looking, though.

I think you got series 4 and 5 confused, the dwarf is series 5. I say they are similar because if you look at them they are both armed with the same ax, both have a round shield, both have "Norse" clothing, and although their helmets are not the same, they are pretty similar. The colors on both of them are also a close match with the flat silver predominating.

Wow... Sorry about that, I had no idea series 5 pics were already out

The Viking is in Series 4 and the Dwarf is in Series 5. They both have silly fantasy helmets, round shields and axes, I say they are pretty similar.

Also, Scandinavians were shorter back in the Viking era so the vertically challenged fella' in series 5 is perhaps a better rendition of a Viking.

Based on a second look I think the 'traffic cop' 'scuba diver' of this lot will be the sailor or the ice skater. I think it's cause the accessories that they have aren't unique. The sailor has the telescope piece isn't rare but it's just in chrome. The ice skater has the same piece as the hockey player just the hockey player is much cooler.

I actually like the figure skater a lot more than the hockey player (even though I do feel compelled to get a bunch more hockey players, simply so I can make a team), and the sailor is one of those figures for which at least some people will naturally want a lot of (surely someone will want to crew an entire battleship or something with these guys, right?).

Sailor started of as being very popular, people were saying they'd need a full crew. With not many people interested in the viking, he's as close to an "army" minifig as this series comes.

I'd imagine the dummy here is the skater boy or the artist.

I forgot about the artist... I'll have those too. The skateboarder I don't mind so much because of the different coloured parts, particularly the hat. Right now I prefer it to the S1 skateboarder.

Sorry, but I have to disagree with you about the artist. I love that figure, and loads of other people do, too. And no one liked the dummy because he had no new moulds, whereas the artist has 2.

I agree about the skater, though. I liked the first one more, because he had an excellent new (at the time) hairpiece.

I'll be picking up between 15-20 of them, not to make a crew, but to make a Navy Band to play in a pagoda in my town. :)

I'm really excited for Series 4, there are a lot of good looking figures in this one

I'm most excited for:

Monster

Werewolf

Mad Scientist

Hazmat Guy

Mad Scientist

Viking

Musketeer

And I'm kind of warm to:

Geisha

Punk Rocker

Actually, I like the dummy a lot, simply because there's something innately funny to me about a minifigure of a crash test dummy. I got three dummies, and I really wish I had at least one more (to facilitate the creation of a crash test MOC with simulating a collision with a vehicle with full adult occupancy  ). It's one of my favorite figures from Series 1, as tough a call as that is. But I do agree about the artist - that one's equally amusing, and beautifully done, and I'm going to get at least a couple. That said, I actually don't feel I need as many artists as demolition dummies (I don't need a bunch of identically-uniformed artists, after all, complete with the same exact paint splatters).

I agree about the skater, though. I liked the first one more, because he had an excellent new (at the time) hairpiece.

I think I prefer the second, because of the printed hat and board, though I'm glad to have a couple of the first one.

Who wouldn't love the artist??? Certainly it's one of my favorites of all four lines... I think it's a perfect example of how different figures will appeal to different buyers just based on personality. Some people, like the guys over at FBTB.net, love the new skateboarder, and others are simply mad about the sailor. Personally, I just think they don't hold a candle to the artist, the wolfman, the viking or the hockey player. What's great about these figs is that there's something for everyone, which across the board only builds the mass appeal for the entire line itself.

Every series has had its 'Spartan' (or elf, or zombie or cheerleader), but on the next level there's always those unique niche figures for different niches of the buying public. And I feel that's what has made the series so successful. Add that to the entire series collectors and (not to be underestimated) parts collectors, and TLG has got a good thing going on.

Don't get me wrong, I really like the artist. And I really like the dummy. But how many do you need? How many of either one does anybody need? He's the dummy of this set in that once you have one, that's probably plenty, so he's not going to be valuable. There will be some people who'll get multiples to have racks of palettes and brushes, just like Blondie-Wan and the crash test MOC, but that doesn't make it popular.

Personally, I'll get one for my collection, another one for parts (his face greatly resembles my brothers') and that's me finished.

If you ask me, Dunjohn, the 'dummy' of series 4 is the female ice skater. Either that or the chick surfer. The only reason I see myself getting either is just to complete the set.

I love the surfer girl! She has lovely hair and nice pink printing. And I like the figure skater too, because she has a nice dress and ice skates.

Uhm, I'll admit to not having read the previous 35 pages in their entirety, but.. do we have news as to whether TLC went back to barcodes for these, stuck with hard-to-read and sometimes-inconsistent bumps or something else entirely ? I don't always feel comfortable feeling up packages for 15 minutes when the boxes are at the counter of the shop I visit :-D

The artist is my favorite too! And his accessories are really unique! I mean that paint brush can be used in so many different MOC's!
