All I can say is holy cow, that is amazing! I love the scene and idea, reminds me of a classic American Gladiators event. Very impressive

This looks great, but we expect that from AC now, don't we? I can honestly say the wait for the final product was worth it.

For some reason, I thought they scaled the guns on the right side of the tower.

Did you backlight the tower to make the green line glow like that? Because it makes it really stand out.

Don't worry, that's what the mirror effect of any good photo editor is for.

*oh2* Just overwhelmed by the response on this project here and from the various sites (also blogged on TBB) and truly worthwhile spending the time to do it. Can't thank everyone enough for your comments and will just try to answer some common questions brought up.

1) The flag tower is back lit and I really wanted to have all the green plates lit. However that would have required rebuilding it to accomodate strip lights, scrapped that and just settled for a lamp.

2) The helmets used are from the SP3 minifigs and bought several of the small sets from TRU not BL during the October BOGO half off.

3) Action scenes took more time to do than anticipated even though the whole structure was already finished two weeks ago.

4) Next big thing? Don't know yet as I won't divulge anything about it just that it will be in time for the holiday season.

PS. Thanks for FP KimT!

Maybe I'll give the Expand the Winter Village contest a shot at!

Well its clear how good this is, its on the official SW blog.

Saw that yesterday and was taken from technabob.

One geek who particularly liked that episode a lot has recreated that training room complete with downed robots and weapons in LEGO form. The cool part is that the even recreated the uneven terrain from the episode using LEGO bricks.

I really like this LEGO creation, and its one of the coolest of the Star Wars constructs I have seen. The level of detail in the model is very impressive; you have to look hard to see just how complex the thing is.

That makes it official!

Best Episode,Awesome Moc

Thanks and welcome to EB, however please refrain from commenting on posts over three months old as it's not well received for obvious reasons.
