commanderneyo Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 (edited) I have gone on Clone Army Customs for nearly a year now and the guy who owns it's customs never cease to amaze me so I decided to start a topic for his Lego ARC Troopers from the Clone Wars season 3 premiere episodes *Clone Cadets and ARC Troopers*. They are very well made and while I would love to get one of them unfortunately I can't as he uses dollars and I Don't Seen as I still can't work out how to post pictures I will deal with links instead. Also if would the moderators please make a Poll to decide on which of the ARC troopers they like best made by the Clonearmycustoms guy First up is a video reviewing the four ARC's. Now for the links on The Clonearmycustoms site. http://www.clonearmycustoms.com/cgi-bin/item.pl?cat=38&id=1 http://www.clonearmycustoms.com/cgi-bin/item.pl?cat=38&id=2 http://www.clonearmycustoms.com/cgi-bin/item.pl?cat=38&id=3 http://www.clonearmycustoms.com/cgi-bin/item.pl?cat=38&id=4 Edited November 13, 2010 by commanderneyo Quote
Darth Yogi Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 These look great. Although I don't really like the Clone Wars these helmets aren't bad. Also the quality on his creations are awesome, although to pricey for my likings. Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 From what I've seen I agree that Clone Army Customs create one of the best clone custom troopers around, though it's a too pricey IMO. I think this would be a much better topic if you did an actual review on his products. And definitely photos will be much appreciated. Words and links alone won't do justice to his awesome creations. Brickdoctor Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 I don't think they're too pricey compared to the competition, and these are some of the best, but I really wouldn't pay that kind of money for one Clone Trooper. Chrome Vader, yes, but $30 for a CT is too much. Quote

Oh sorry forgot the review bit this is my first review of anything that would be why Anyway to the reviews of the Troopers. Commander Colt: Colt was a ARC Trooper Commander in the Clone wars. His figure made by the guy from CloneArmyCustoms was excellent and totally matched what he really looked like. Blue ARC Trooper: [ This ARC Trooper appeared In the Season 3 premiere episodes and was brilliantly customized into a lego figure Yellow ARC Trooper: This ARC Trooper was very well designed and his helmet was spot on. Red ARC Trooper: This ARC Trooper appeared briefly in the season 3 premiere episodes but was not seen much and was another of this guys amazing figures EDIT: The image for the Red ARC Trooper was too big so I had to leave it out. Brickdoctor Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 These are all the Phase 1.5 ARCs, which aren't my favorite, but if I had to pick one I'd go with the blue ARC. Quote

Are those photos yours or from the clone custom army site? EDIT: Sorry, I just read that you don't have these yet. It's just that I'm used to the normal reviews where the reviewer actually owns the items(s) for him to make a thorough review. Edited November 14, 2010 by KielDaMan Quote
Clone-Cat Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 (edited) This is really great work. Especially the markings on the kama and the decals. But there is one thing I really miss. They are all lacking their rangefinders. Edited November 14, 2010 by Clone-Cat Quote

Plus trun this into a proper review on the individual figs and I'll add it to the review index as well. Quote
CommanderFox Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 Nice little review commanderneyo. The figs are amazing, but imo way to expensive, he must be putting in hours into each fig to make them that expensive. Still, the decals and paint job are very good. Thanks again for the review! The_Customizer Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Okay, being a good friend of Clone Army Customs, here is some information. 1. His guys are awesome! I just recently ordered his Yellow Phase 1.5, so when I get it I will do a review. 2. His Phase 1.5s are much more accurate then Minifigmaker's. For one thing, Minifigmaker's helmets are just Phase 2 helmets, with a fin, but Clone Army Customs is an entirely new design. For example, MM's doesn't have all of the detail on the front of the helmet, although CAC's does. 3. CAC may be a bit more expensive, but he has belt decals, and his stuff is higher quality/design. Whereas MM's has less detail, no belt decals, and are rather plain. 4. I think that is all I have to say for right now. But remember this CAC is way better, and has been around for much longer, and is better experienced. Quote
