Marckeyh Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 If you state the set number with the names, it will be easier to look them up. Check out brickset or bricklink for amount of pieces. Quote
KimT Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Is this a "What's the size of your Star Wars collection?"-topic? If not, then what is it? I'm not sure I'm getting the point of it Quote
Fugazi Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 AT-AT 8000 pieces? B-Wing 3000 pieces? You really should check Brickset for accurate part counts! Quote
prateek Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 AT-AT 8000 pieces? B-Wing 3000 pieces? You really should check Brickset for accurate part counts! He's talking about his own UCS MOCs. Quote
Stegoceras Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 I immediately saw myself taking a day off throwing all my Lego on a big pile and start counting. 7.395...7.396....7.398....uhm...no, wait.... awh, I lost count.....okay well back to the start, 1...2... Quote
Corydoras Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 (edited) He means his MOCs, not the regular sets. EDIT: Ooops, too late. Edited November 15, 2010 by Corydoras Quote
Brickdoctor Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Is this a "What's the size of your Star Wars collection?"-topic? If not, then what is it? I'm not sure I'm getting the point of it I think he's just wondering how many pieces each SW builder has. Sorry, my fault, in the Landing Craft topic I wondered out loud (sort of) which of the big UCS and diorama builders had the most pieces. And to keep this post on-topic, I think I only have around 15-20,000 pieces. Quote
brickfoot Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 I only have around 50,000 pieces but 20,000 of them have been neglected over the years and look like trash. Quote
def Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 If you input your sets into Brickset, you'll get an accurate number of pieces and minifigs. I have 46059 at the moment, plus the miscellaneous sets I got as a kid. But, I don't get how that makes this a Star Wars topic. Quote

At any rate I hve 63108 pieces in system sets, 10307 spare parts for MOCing, and 7745 tied up in UCS sets that never get taken apart. That's 81160 total, 73415 of which can actually be used in MOCs. Modest, but growing. Quote
Jargo Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 (edited) ignore this. Edited November 15, 2010 by Brickenhead-town-dweller Quote
Destroydacre Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 (edited) I don't know what the official count is, but I'd estimate that I have about 110,000 pieces. Edited November 15, 2010 by Destroydacre Quote
prateek Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 I have 2212 from 31 sets according to Brickset, but in total, I have 34 sets, so I have more than 2212. Quote
fred67 Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 According to brickset: You own 238 sets (123 different). We have piece counts for 84 of them. Using that data we have calculated that you own 55231 pieces! So... it's a wildly inaccurate piece count (on the low side... I must have ordered at least 15k from bricklink over the years). I also own 545 minifigures... but that's wildly inaccurate, too (on the low side). Of course, that's not all Star Wars... in fact, probably maybe only 1/4 to 1/3 Star Wars, less on the minifigures. As a FYI there's at least one old topic on this. Quote
Yeow Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 You own 364 sets (355 different). We have piece counts for 341 of them. Using that data we have calculated that you own 68915 pieces! Quote
Skafte Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 I used to update my Peeron list whenever I bought something, but since it took about half a minute uploading one brick in a BL order, I stopped about two years ago. Then I had about 110 000 pieces, so I guess it's up to 140-150 000 now. Someday I'll make a proper inventory... Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 (edited) I have a fairly small collection compared to some of the hard-core lego fans here, but here's a rough estimate of my modest piece count: From sets (brickset data): ~ 3,800 pcs. From BL purchases (BL data): ~ 2,500 pcs TOTAL: ~ 6,300 pcs From the looks of it, I'm second only to prateek for the lowest piece count so far. Edited November 16, 2010 by KielDaMan Quote
Lego Otaku Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 I have no idea as I gut quite a few bulk lots from local garage sales. My total connection exceeds 200 pounds (a bit under 100Kg) Quote
Siegfried Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 (edited) According to Peeron (which is missing a few sets I have); 424 Sets (395 unique), 156,963 Parts, 999 Minifigs. Not too bad considering that; I have around 50,000. Edited November 16, 2010 by Siegfried Found some missed ones! Quote
Fugazi Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 999 Minifigs. Well, too bad you can't plan a special event for your 1000th minifig considering that... According to Peeron (which is missing a few sets I have); Quote
Flare Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 According to brickset I have 8325 pieces, plus around 1000 pieces of bricklink/PaB that adds up to a grand total of... 9325 pieces Quote
Condor Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Wow, I didn't realize I had this many. That's also not counting the random PaB and Grab bag purchases as well as other bulk stuff I have. We have piece counts for 220 of them. Using that data we have calculated that you own 66125 pieces! We have retail prices for 195 of them. Using that data we have calculated that their total retail value is US$6299. I know for a fact I haven't spent that much on them. Quote
