badboytje88 Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 Some mothers are afraid their little bundle of joy will catch a cold when going outside in the snow. So they pack them in layers of clothes, almost disabling the poor kid to move. Little do they know a little cold is the last thing the kid needs to worry about. For the LEGO BCN Christmas contest. We were allowed to use no more than 20 bricks. So I used 20 bricks. In coorporation with Joris Background inspired by Chris Quote
Joris Blok Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 I have that same coat! Again, I love the idea. Good luck in the contest, mate, I hope we both win Quote
buddy Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 Great entry, badboytje88! I particularly like the way you have done the coat. Well done. ~buddy~ Quote
Rick Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 He won't be getting cold that's for sure. I also like how you've used the whip for the arms of the snow man. Quote
badboytje88 Posted November 21, 2010 Author Posted November 21, 2010 HOW Did you make the arms that way? There is a piece of flex tube inside the torso (which is a really old one without the x inside). The flex tubing goes through two 1x1 round bricks and the hands are inside the flex tube. I have that same coat! Again, I love the idea. Good luck in the contest, mate, I hope we both win Good luck to you too my friend. Great entry, badboytje88! I particularly like the way you have done the coat. Well done. ~buddy~ Thanks He won't be getting cold that's for sure. I also like how you've used the whip for the arms of the snow man. Thank you! At first I tried using one of those large brown guns, which didn't work out for me. So I tried the whip. I'm very satisfied with the end result. Quote
