Bingo Little Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 wow. did you just pick that last name out of the air? Bane will definitely not be played by Tom Sellick. Tom Hardy (the guy that played opposite Leo DeCaprio in Inception) thats going to be Bane. The theory is that the video game was really the end of this series of Lego. It would be nice if Lego Batman came back but I highly doubt it for some reason but I can see it making a reemergence again next year when "The Dark Knight Rises" somes out in theaters. Damnit, wrong Tom. I've no idea where 'Sellick' came from. Quote
Gregorovich Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Okay, I was wrong. I don't know where I got David Tennant from, but I definitely heard it was Anne Hathaway and Kristen Bell playing the other two. I guess I was wrong though... Quote
Cutty Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 If LEGO had plans for further Batman-sets with the awesome "The Brave And The Bold"-series now at full attention with children in the states and europe they'd long have done some. I know I'd get me some (Blue Beetle! Yeah!). I wouldn't expect for our master detective to return, even though Nolan's third installment is being made atm and released in not all to far future. Sad thing: This will keep me from acquiring a Harley Quinn-mini I'd so love to include into my castle-concept. German collectors' prices are insane in that regard (almost two thirds of the original set's MSRP! NO good!). Quote
Henchmen4Hire Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 (edited) Magnum PI is gonna be BANE!? AWESOME! Cutty, you can get the Harley minifig for $10 US + shipping, which I think is ridiculous for any minifig unless it's some crazy rare exclusive, but there's just no other way to get it. Even though you're in Germany, shipping should only be like $5 to you from the US (ebay). Edited January 22, 2011 by DrNightmare Quote
VenVoi Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 It seems like LEGO would have noticed how well their old Batman sets are selling on the black market. I'm sure if they released an updated line they'd be just as popular (and cheaper ). Plus we might get some new characters like Mad Hatter or Man-Bat due to the popularity of the game. Quote
Henchmen4Hire Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Yar, that'd be great if they made a deal with DC again and released new figures! And has anyone checked to see if it's cheaper/about the same to buy the pieces to build the Batman sets than pay crappy ebay prices? Quote
