I am interested to know how many CC folks Joined EB because of this crash and if so will you now post regularly at both?

I'll admit that I had no intention to join EB before the crash, but now that I've gotten settled in, I'll be posting regulary at both sites. I'll be doing a happy dance when the CC forums return. X-D

I've been a member here for quite sometime (despite the fact that I'm an American) and post here somewhat regularly though not nearly as much as at C-C. I actually post in almost all of the major and some minor lego forums (the more exposure the better, I always say... or used to, until... well never mind).

I too will be doing to the happy dance when CC is back up, but I will posting here on a regular basis. I doubt that I would have gotten as involved here if CC hadn't had problems, but I'm glad I got to posting. EB is a good site.

Mr Ellerb, are you saying that Eurobricks isn't established because it IS a general LEGO forum, or because there more is needed to done before it can be considered established? If so, what is that?

I believe Ben meant that it's a newer site, so it's not as well known yet. But that will change, you have a good site here, very friendly and with a lot to offer. Lugnet has gotten bogged down with infighting, off-topic nonsense, overt sensitivity, etc.

Yes. That is exactly what I meant. Lugnet has been around for over 7 years. Eurobricks is just a newer site that is still growing. It does not have a giant core group of long time users like Lugnet. I have no doubt that EB will grow to be very large.

More CC members have been posting here in the last few days. On the other hand many CC people, especially those who like Pirates, were already very active here. I find that most afols online post on many sites but have one or two favorites that they are most dedicated to.

We love our Classic Cattle Chatter! We'll just abbreviate that to CCC! It has been good to recieve some input from the Castle experts and meet those among you who also like Pirates!

Wow, it's so good to have CC back. It's like I'm home for the first time in a week!
