grohl Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Very nice loader. The photos make the red look more in a brick shade which is nice. Quote
Chrizzle Posted April 23, 2013 Author Posted April 23, 2013 (edited) Hello everyone, after a rather long break from building technic, due to my bachelor's thesis I now want to share with you my latest creation. I decided to start with something simple, yet playable. So I combined the features of the 8043 (6 functions with 4 motors) with the claw of 42006 (great playability). As I'm a proud owner of two 9398 crawler sets I also decided to replace the m-motors and receivers by 4 l-motors and two new V2-Receivers. Everything is powerd by the 8878 rechargeable battery box. I also added some lights for the looks.Well as most of the parts of this moc are more or less copied from the two sets I at least wanted to do the lower structure on my own and didn't use the 8043 solution. Check out the details here: https://vimeo.com/64623068 - Performance https://vimeo.com/64623070- Motors and Tracks As most of you know the two sets already, here are only a few pictures of the model: So that's it for now. The creation turned out to be really fun to play with and is rather easy to build as you can use the imo awesome 8043 gearbox solution. Hope you like it. Chrizzle Posted June 22, 2013 Author Posted June 22, 2013 Hello again, after I have seen several mocs of the so called baja/trophy trucks I tried to design my own one. The model is roughly inspired by the monster energy baja truck. Here is the result: Main view: I also decided to add some lights: As most of those trucks it carries a spare wheel for emergencies: Side view of the truck: Rear suspension and gear ratio: If you like you can check out a short vid of its performance here: https://vimeo.com/68913085 (video will be active in a few minutes) Regards chrizz Quote
Kwon Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Wow! Very impressive MOCs, first pickup is familar to some technic set's alternate model.. (crane truck? not sure). Quote
Chrizzle Posted June 23, 2013 Author Posted June 23, 2013 Thank you for your comments, glad to hear you like my creations! @kwon: yes, you're right, the pickup is a modification of the 8258 B-model, was one of my first mocs so far Quote
