sam89 Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 I popped into the LEGO Shop at Bluewater (UK) today and they had the Striking Venom! They didn't have any other Mid-2006 sets, not even the other Exo-Force sets. I should have a review up by Monday.

The middle section (especially underneath it) is a lot more complicated than it appears. Also, interestingly, Meca One isn't in the instruction booklet, even thugh he comes with the set. The instructions just show another bronze coloured robot.

natelite Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 wow this is interesting. the back of the box showed sentai fortress, hero tank as available sets. okay, you already know that... so what's so interesting about that? you asked. well, this means the highly anticipated white lightning vs bridge walker is probably going to be a special edition again. recall that supernova is a special edition set which does not appear in any of the boxes' art. either that or set 7713 will not be released this year. *wacko*

It's only the guns on top, the silver robot and the disk shooter that rotate, not the whole body. And here's something that's likely to disappoint a few people: Meca One doesn't come with legs. His body clips straight into the cockpit. This would be fair enough, if the back of the box didn't show him with legs . . .
