Well im not sure what to say about him, i dont really like or dislike him. I can see why some people find him offensive but i dont think hes the worst star wars character that weve seen......ewoks anyone??

I hate the prequel droids more than anything... oh they are such a drag!

If only Lucas could afford some script writers, then we could have our favourite classic droids and no lousy gungan!

I like the gungans, jarjar has a role in this story. I like him in the english version. The french version of his voice sucks

I can't bear it ... would be long to explain but ... this "comic" (not comic at all in fact) role ... However R2D2 and C3P0 are funny and ... it's different i don't know.

I think that as a whole the jar jar issue is one that we will still be hearing in years to come just like the ewok one. :|

His voice is bad but it was suposed to be aimed at kids and most of the kids that i know found it amusing, i myself didnt but lucas knows that if he puts a cute character in the movies its more then likely to make him alot of money.

I used to hate him, now I find him OK after reading the novel, he just seems so confused and lost in the novel that you can't rerally help but feel sorry for him :(

but really...

Jar Jar was bad, but one character did not destroy Ep. 1, the writers and the casting agency destroyed it. Jar Jar will go down in in history as the stupidest thing since un-sliced bread, the kid they used to play young Anakin sucked out loud, the mother was horrible, they only showed Darth Maul for about 10 minutes and Darth Maul died way too quick and easy, the pod race was about 45 minutes too long, Watto stinks, and on and on and on......

The good things...

Ep 1 sucked plain and simple, for me anakin should of been older and i cant help but feel that darth maul was a wasted character he looked so barn evil and imposing a true movie villan much better than dooku.

I actuly liked Episode one, sometimes i think people exspekt too much..

I liked alot of the effects but i just thought that the story was boring and they killed off the 2 most interesting characters.

Now ep 2 was great IMO.

It was a bad movie, Star Wars or not. But remember....

Of coarse we expected alot. But hands down this was just bad. And what made Ep. 1 really

bad is that Ep. 2 had to rush things to move the story line along. Ep. 2 was much better but it could have been great if Ep. 1 didn't suck so much and move like a turd through the story. And Ep. 3 may become the best of the three but it will still be forced to move through the storyline at neck-break speeds to make up for the turd of a movie that was Ep. 1

Yeah, and I think the Ep. 1 rocket broke down and never got off that lunching platform.
