General Magma Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 (edited) Very nice! I haven't thought of doing something like that myself before. A slowly moving, large, brown machine - just as it should be. Good job. ~ General Magma Edited November 28, 2010 by General Magma Quote
BrickArtist Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 Great job! This is an awesome mod and a major improvement, even the speed is realistic. I'd love to see it mowing over some imps in a video! Quote
Brickdoctor Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 Nice job! I've never been good with PF, so even though this should be a simple mod as a tracked vehicle with steering already built in, I'm impressed. Quote
Masked Builder Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 As the others have said the speed is great! While the brickshelf folder isn't public I'll check back to see the pictures. It's looks great overall! Quote
Gioppa Posted November 28, 2010 Author Posted November 28, 2010 I don't know why isn't public, but is not a problem, check this link and you can see something, but remember,i'm not a great photographer My link Quote
Masked Builder Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 You hid that main receiver very well! I had to stare at it for minute to see it. You got all of the parts in that space very well! Quote
Gioppa Posted November 28, 2010 Author Posted November 28, 2010 Thanks, as I say before i don't like to modify original set,but made it better! Quote
StoutFiles Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 This is awesome. If TLG makes another Sandcrawler someday, I wouldn't be surprised if they go this route considering the walking AT-AT. Quote
Tyleraf Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 Very nice. And its speed is very realistic as well. Quote
Ceroknight Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 Thats so cool! I think the speed is spot on as its supposed to be slow Hope to see more motorized versions! Quote
CommanderFox Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 Really good job with this Gioppa! The speed is perfect! CF Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 Great job motorizing the sandcrawler Gioppa! The slow speed is just perfect. Quote
R5-N2 Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 (edited) nice job... Do you have some inside pics ? Edited December 2, 2010 by R5-N2 Quote
Darth Jar Jar Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Wow that is great if I had the sandcrawler I would motorize it straight away just like yours Quote
Mr Man Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 If I get any of the CTT then I will probably try and motorise them, or the TIE tank, Sandcrawler, or the any other wheeled or tracked vehicle. Quote

Gioppa Posted November 30, 2010 Author Posted November 30, 2010 i like to motorize the TIE Crawler, but i think there is to made it bigger for place the ir reicever and one motor for each "wing"and in my religion is impossible to made moc. If somebody made remeber of me! Quote
Nightshroud99 Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Thats a really good idea, and it makes me upset I never got one I can just imagine chasing my Pug with that Quote
