Ricecracker Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 Here's my latest truck. It's a classic style Pepsi delivery truck. After my trip to NYC this summer, I decided to build a classic cola delivery truck. I held a vote earlier in the year to decide which company to build. dhaas06 Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 That logo is fantastic, nice work! I love how you worked in seams where all the sliding doors would be, it has a really nice effect. Quote
erik530195 Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 That logo is fantastic, nice work! I love how you worked in seams where all the sliding doors would be, it has a really nice effect. Agreed. This is great. You paid attention to every detail. The logo is great. But im sure it falls apart often Quote
dr_spock Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 Very nice work on the truck. The logo looks great. Is it too late to vote for Coke? Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 Wow, where ordinary builders will resort to decals for logo details, making a very accurate brickbuilt logo in such a small scale is a feat only master MOCers could only pull-off. And you certainly did a truly impressive job on this one Ricecracker! Quote
lightningtiger Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 AWESOME SNOT work there 'ricecracker', beautiful truck and again I'll say it AWESOME rear end ! Keep the cool work and keep on trucking ! Quote
exon_from_youtube Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 I hate pepsi.... bau man I like that truck.... the logo came out killer! Quote
gotoAndLego Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 Agreed. This is great. You paid attention to every detail. The logo is great. But im sure it falls apart often Not necessarily. The 1932 lettering on Fire Brigade shows that its possible to reinforce brickwork like this. Quote
buddy Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 A great truck, Ricecracker. I too particualrly like the logo. Very well done. ~buddy~ Quote
Rick Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 That's some insane SNOT-ting you've achieved. Quote
MightySlickPancake Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 Scary amout of snot . Fantasic work and I hope you do a coca cola version. Thanks, CB Quote
The Soup Nazi Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Nice job on the logo! I like how you brick built i t and didn't make a decal! Quote
Big Cam Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 You did a fantastic job on that LOGO. Getting it to look like what appears to be to scale. It's awesome! Great work! Quote
ACCURATEin Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Highly intricate SNOT technique here! Great work. Quote
Ricecracker Posted November 30, 2010 Author Posted November 30, 2010 Thank you, everyone! I'm glad you all like it. The logo is surprisingly sturdy, with only about five cheese slopes falling out if I hold it on it's side - the four upside down near the top, and the one at the bottom near the rear wheel. Not necessarily. The 1932 lettering on Fire Brigade shows that its possible to reinforce brickwork like this. Now that you mention it, that's probably what I should have done, but the lettering is actually just held in by pressure. Quote
Section8 Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Very nice work! At first I thought you painted some parts, but I looked closer and saw it is all SNOT. I am impressed at the curves you accomplished using that technique. Now your next challenge should be a Coca-Cola truck, with its cursive writing Quote
