Aanchir Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 Oh no! My wallets going to be running out! But these look SOOO cool. The ummm.. everything looks really good. 1 flaw though, the explorers have rifles, not my beloved thompsons that I need. Here they have a thompson: That;s from LEGO.com if you are wondering. Strange... I wonder why they changed the guns. Maybe he'll have different guns in different sets. That's always a possibility. Quote
badboytje88 Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 Ow the female fig has agent Trace hair in dark orange! Quote
Sirtank Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 I spotted 2 of these sets today in Michigan at a Toys R us. They had 7306 (9.99 USD), which I bought, and 7326 (49.99 USD), but that will have to wait for payday. The Mummy heads are 2 sided. One side has 2 eyes and the mouth showing, the other has 1 eye peaking through the bandages. Quote
sok117 Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 I'm curious to see if the obelisk from the biplane set and the shrine from the cobra set can and are meant to be placed on the 6x6 openings on the snake and scorpion pits in the pyramid set. Thats a very good observation! I think that that is possible if not probable. I also noticed the cool snake pit on the pyramid. Quote
WhiteFang Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 Excellent! Superb! Everything with regards to this theme is a "MUST GET" for me. This is so amazing. I am really loving the details and lots of potential as well. This is one of the definite new theme which I will be eying for such as the Pyramid, and those small little sets. Quote

buddy Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 I like the look of all of these sets! I especially like the fact that all of the vehicles are mainly Dark Red, and not a more common colour. ~buddy~ Quote
Tacitus Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 Love them! I'm so glad they bought a version of the Adventurers back. The big snake set is my least favorite. Quote
r4-g9 Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 calgary ab tru will be getting these in about two weeks! Quote
The Yellow Brick Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 At first I wasn't too sure about this theme but after seeing the offical images I've changed my mind completely. I really do hope they continue this theme but make some changes like exploring the jungles (Dino Island) or some other exotic places . Quote
LegoDad42 Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 I'm definitely getting most of this line. LOVE the scarab shields, the wings on the mummy warriors, the temple...I'm diggin' this whole line. Gonna' incorporate and expand to MOC some new Indiana Jones adventure playsets with these kits. Love 'em! Quote
lt.Gonville brickhead Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 Yay lego have made a (sort of) half track Quote
Masked Builder Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 They look great! I don't like the fact that 7302 is going to cost $120. Quote
Peppermint_M Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 I need them all for certainly! Thank you City for just being a load of Police again (proud owner of a precinct's worth of officers) and Ninja Go for just being another of those "Cheap sets for parts" themes. My new plan of action is: Get all the sets, seek out the old Adventurer's egypt and then have fun Quote

Aanchir Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 I have a strong feeling that its dirt And if not, we've learned something new about minifigures: they not only have bright yellow skin, but also have reddish-brown blood! Seriously, that reason alone is enough to convince me it's not blood-- never mind the obvious problems LEGO would have with putting blood in a set in any form. They got enough grief over that issue when this set was released. Quote
The Lego Director Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 These are all good sets love all Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 An image from Flickr: Is it blood or mud on his undershirt? Probably mud. I can see interesting custom minifigures with that torso. Quote
Aegisofer Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 Don´t ask how, but for those interested: -Curved pieces TEND to be printed, in other words, the Scorpion and Cobra head ARE printed. So do the claws and the shell of the beetle. Sadly, stickers are used for everything else/flat. -The flying mummies are THAT awesome. Also, the wing piece is thick yet flexible, so i guess that it won´t break easily. The headdress is a separate piece. -Most of the mummies have certain details printed in gold. And two sided faces, except Anubis guards (Just a black head). -The pins of the Scarab shields are horizontals, so you can put them at a guard/rest position easily (i´m not a castle person). The pyramid play features are: - You can raise the central stairwell to reveal some scorpions. - You can open the doors by turning the little golden cones at their sides (sadly they´re not linked). - A ¨Falling rock crushing trapdoor¨ - You can hit a lever at the back to make the sarcophagus break through the side wall. - You can make the sand golem (hehe) rest using the ¨balcony¨ of the pyramid. -The cobra is pure, distilled awesome also ;) Quote

Capt.JohnPaul Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 All of these pieces had blood so I can't see why not. True, very true. But in the picture it looks more like mud... while the pictures you showed were more slashes and not blotches like in the Pharaoh's Quest pic. Quote
Delta 38 Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 I have a strong feeling that its dirt Chocolate! All of these pieces had blood so I can't see why not. Well, the first was Star Wars and the second was from a criminal. The third I don't recognise, but in this case we have a good character, so I doubt it is blood. It still is too dark and brownish for me to classify as blood, though. Quote

Yeah, I see your point. It just doesn't seem very likely to me. Are those jackal heads actually heads or are helmets? I originally assumed they were helmets, but I now think they're heads. Quote
