Sirens-of-Titan Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 oh, wow, your pic is perfect, yes, the mummies bring exactly this swords. I don't remember other creatures in this line but I'll made a check tuesday I hope for a sphinxes nausi Great! That sword is classic, and I'm happy they didn't just stick a katana or an Arabic blade on these guys! I can't wait to hear more about this line and especially to see these sets in the prelim pics; if it's not too much trouble could you note the kind of minifigs that come in this line on the Egyptian side; I mean I know there are a lot of details to remember but some info like the number of mummies in each set, notable parts, accessories and bits, and also new/improved pieces and molds would be greatly appreciated! Thank you for your info so far, you've inspired me to start planning great builds Quote

Jargo Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 I'm expecting to be wowed by some aspects and disappointed by others. I love the Adventurers Desert adventure sets so looking forward to any parts that will improve or extend that. Looking at series three of collectible minifigs mummy and updated Harry Cane gives me hope that this new theme will look ok. Quote
---Vertea--- Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 I'm intrigued by the scarab shield idea... and the wings. Not sure if they're attached to the back or to the arms. I'd REALLY like to see anubis heads or masks for the minifigs. Quote

I'd REALLY like to see anubis heads or masks for the minifigs. The wings are attached to the back and are white and black, no curves, only stright lines. This new wings are very different from the old harry potter's wings. nausi Quote

New shape for it, very strange it is like an half moon... This set for me is a must buy (in multiple copies) 7307 Duel in the air € 19.99 (great biplane) --> english biplane with standard pilot fight against 2 mummies. They have wings in gold, red blu and white and a new helmet, like an horus face. extra: 1 blue diamands. Very spectacular! Another must buy (for me only 1 copy) 7325 Cursed Cobra Statue € 29.99 --> 2 adventurers on a red jeep against a BIG cobra and a standard mummy. Extra: 1 golden scarab shield . The cobra is a bit knobbly, I prefer minifigs... 7326 Mysterious Sphinx € 49.99 --> 1 adventurer with a red car and rifle against 2 standard mummy. Tha sphinx is a big statue with anubi head. I dont like it very much, too childish extra: golden mummy sword 7327 Pyramid of the Pharaoh € 99.99 (including half-track) a bib big set with 3 adventurers and 4 mummies. 2 mummies have a new complete helmet with anubi face . Very sweet. there is also 1 horus mummy (with wings) and a giant scorpion extra: golden standard pharaoh helmet have a nice evening nausi Quote

Fugazi Posted September 21, 2010 Author Posted September 21, 2010 Thanks for all the details, nausicaakro! If you don't mind I will update the first post with your information. A few questions, if you can tell us: -Is there a definite name for the theme in your catalogue? (Pharaohs, Pharaoh's Quest, other?) -Any details about the Pyramid? Is it a full pyramid, or just a fraction of one? -Are the vehicles looking like 1920-30s vintage, or more modern? Cheers! Quote
