Jouster Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 (edited) I noticed something, 3 heroes cost 11,87 € and 2 cost 9,10 €. I wonder why.Maybe we get 3 villain sized heroes and 3 normal sized heroes.I find it interesting that 3 cost more than the other 2. (Those heroes are Breez, Furno and Rocka.) TheRedGuy Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 2012 Hero Factory set names have been found by yours truly; unlike the "lists" we've been shown before, these come from a legitimate site that featured the 3.0 names months before release; Link. A search for Hero Factory should bring up the results. Obviously there's someone missing, because there are only five heroes (unless one of the other sets is a new hero, which I heavily doubt.) Individual set listings; Breez Evo Surge Rocka Furno Jawblade Splitface Thornraxx Black Phantom Toxic Reapa I'm kind of in a daze at the moment because I didn't expect to come across these so late in the night; I'm going to get some shut-eye and come in fresh tommorow with my thoughts! Hopefully pictures will surface soon to accompany these names. Sounds like we'll be getting a bunch of toxic/radioactive/mutated villains. Quote

Some kind of toxic pollutant has transformed all the sea creatures into monsters, and the heroes have to go stop them before they get to Makuhero city and the poison spreads to everyone. Oh and along the way, new hero Reapa (I'm guessing he's the 6th hero) gets infected and becomes Toxic Reapa. Quote
vexorian Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 (edited) If it is a water theme, I will be very happy that I will not have to spend on HF for half a year. Yay! Sounds like we'll be getting a bunch of toxic/radioactive/mutated villains. (again). Edited September 1, 2011 by vexorian Quote
ZORK64 Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 As long as I don't see any pictures, I won't give much on this listing. But the ideas which are discussed here are quite interesting. I'd personally like to see a water-themed wave (pun not really intended). But even if not, I hope one of the upcoming Box sets will be blue. Blue was terribly absent in the past 2 waves (especially in the 3.0 wave, since Surge took a break). Quote
The Iron Knight Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 Black Phantom could totally pull off being a remake of Von Nebula based on the name alone. I hope that name's legit, haha. Quote
Phantoka_Chirox Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 (edited) Something water themed would be awesome cause, you know, the weirdest creatures on Earth are from the ocean, unless they're bugs (but Savage Planet basically used bugs as the main villains). PS weird = cool B-) Edited September 1, 2011 by Phantoka_Chirox Quote
Aethersprite Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Interesting! It's good to see Breez and Surge back. Also, going by the villain names it sounds like a poison-theme. Quote

Black Phantom screams Von Nebula to me. Splitface sounds like Batman's Two-Face. Jawblade screams Raw-Jaw. With Toxic Reapa (Reaper?) I imagine a Death-like figure with hood and all. And big freaking toxic machine guns. Thank you Meso! Quote
vexorian Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Could it be we'll have only five heroes? I think it could happen that TLG decided that 6 were more than most kids were purchasing and it cuts production costs a little to design only 5. Plus we have 5 villains, coincidentally. Quote

Or it could be a story-reason. Don't know, Zib only sent five heroes for something that happened in the Hero Factory? Actually that brings me an idea. Quote

Rollbar Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 One might be a titan eh? If my theory on Reapa is correct, maybe he gets poisoned so early that he doesn't have time to be a regular hero. So the only set of him would be Toxic Reapa. Or maybe he stays as a regular hero for a while, but they just don't make a set of him. Like Von Ness and Rocka 2.0. Quote
Vinyl Scratch Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 This appeared in the Cartoon Network page. I was quite surprised when there was no Mission: Savage Planet game, glad to see that there is a confirmation. Quote
Toa_Of_Justice Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 I received the September-October 2011 LEGO Club Magazine yesterday, and I scanned the Hero Factory content for everyone. Witch Doctor Feature: Page 1 (683x860; 1.24 MB) Page 2 (675x860; 1.25 MB) Full Spread (pages 1 and 2; 1328x845; 2.93 MB) Rocka XL Feature (back cover; 646x860; 1.04 MB) -Toa Of Justice Quote
Perry the Platypus Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 (edited) Wait, that is? He's a good voice actor apparently. <img src='http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dragon_1_laughing.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':dlaugh:' /> I'm really looking forward to this. Seems like it could be the best one. I wonder if the voice actors actually play with the Hero figures. It just makes so much sense that SpongeBob would be playing with buildable action figures. Some confirmation on the 3.0 update for HRT and combined elements, but nothing we already hadn't expected. Also, on the wolf guy, the 3 armor is positioned forward rather than on the side. Does this mean more creative freedom in the Hero Maker? Doubt it, but we can hope. xp Considering I only have one Recon Hero, I am sure going to get more with the new update this month. I want to build Merrick Fortis, already! 2012 Hero Factory set names have been found by yours truly; unlike the "lists" we've been shown before, these come from a legitimate site that featured the 3.0 names months before release; Link. Hopefully pictures will surface soon to accompany these names. I am glad Surge and Breez are back. They needed a bit of a break from villain-smashing, but they could of done so good in the Savage Planet wave, Breez being able to communicate with animals and whatnot. Stormer is gone, and Furno is still here. I wasn't seeing that coming! I can't wait to see what Rocka looks in a 4.0. version. I am kind of leaning towards Toxic Reapa being a toxicated version of a new Hero next wave, but who knows? Thornrrax is a horrible name. The rest are fine. Should be an interesting storyline next year. I like the idea of a toxic/mutated theme for the first part of 2012, but corrupted water villains work, too. Hopefully pictures will surface soon to accompany these names. Nice find, Mesonak. It's worth noting that all the Heroes are rookies. Maybe Stormer retires, leaving Alpha Team under the leadership of Furno, or it could be that veteran Heroes like Bulk, Stringer, and Stormer are kidnapped by villains, and it is up to rookies to rescue them. I will be glad if Evo and Rocka do return, because of the resulting purple and gold pieces. If LEGO was paying attention to that poll on BZPower concerning a purple HF set, maybe Evo will have his colors reversed, to be purple with a yellow Hero Core and head. I would like that. The villain's names are weird as usual. Toxic Reapa? Thornraxx? It sounds like the sets will look interesting. I hope some pictures show up soon. Quote
Zip Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 (edited) Jawblade Splitface Thornraxx Black Phantom Toxic Reapa I'm somehow under the impression that the villains are all plants. The first two sound like man-eaters (Venus Flytraps?), Thornrax=Thorns, black phantom sounds like a flower (female villain?), and Toxic Reapa sounds like a poisonous plant. Edited September 2, 2011 by Zip Quote
VBBN Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Thornraxx? Lego, are you really stopping that low on ideas for names? First we get a second scorpio, now a remix of Thornax Toxic reapa sounds neat, but tat could just be because my gamertag for xbox live is Toxic White :tounge: Splitface=/=Two Face? Sounds quite nice Quote

Maybe they're also cutting back on the HF sets because of the Superheroes figures. Back then in 2010 there were also only the Bionicle Stars alongside with Ben 10. Quote

Back then in 2010 there were also only the Bionicle Stars alongside with Ben 10. I don't think that's the case, HF is said to continue equally with Superheroes figures. Spielwaren maybe didn't list one set. Or LEGO didn't decide which one to add now. Quote
Aethersprite Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Is it time for a Hero Factory 2012 thread? Quote
Mesonak Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Perhaps; ideally we should wait until pictures surface, but I see no reason for a thread not to be created now. -Mesonak Quote
Studs Not On Top Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 (edited) I like the roster for next year. While I hate seeing Stormer leave (he's my favorite character) I do like giving the rookies some opportunities to shine. I wonder if we'll have a sixth hero? Also, since both a yellow and a gold hero are in this wave, it's possible that Evo's colors will be switched. A purple hero would look pretty cool. The villain's names are cool, I can't wait to see what the theme is. Bringing back Von Nebula would be awesome. Edited September 3, 2011 by Studs Not On Top Quote
