September 27, 201014 yr Robo-firefighters. In regards to robot toys with new backstories, the originality of the idea is really never that important because everything has already been done. So it is 100% about the implementation. Regarding the implementation, well it is true that the heroes are looking a lot like neo machines, but I really think that's because of the heads, and I think that just some fixes in the heads will do it. I remember preliminar Nuva pics that were that bad, so I keep my hopes high that the heads will be fixed.
September 28, 201014 yr Right now I'm in on Jetbug and Fire Lord. I seriously hope that as a Titan, the Fire Lord will be decent - instead of the usual snap-quick-builds we'll be getting.
September 28, 201014 yr OH MY GOD. THEY ARE AMAZINGLY SIMILAR TO THAT M3G48l0K5 THEME. *BRAIN MELTDOWN* I'm glad to see that the most of the sets have more peices than the 2010 lineup, although I'm not expecting much from this "Fire Lord" guy, considering his peice count compared to Von Nebula, who barely managed to be custom. -ES
September 28, 201014 yr Umm... Too bad these scream prototypes (hopefully), because I really want better color schemes.
September 28, 201014 yr Good find! But... But but but... Umm. Still like Jetbug, but the Fire Lord is just... Horrendous. He looks more like a set combiner. Plus the reuse of Furno's blade, no matter how awesome it is, is too obvious. Hopefully we get a recolour. I'm not sure I like his legs, and his face is just too plain... The only thing I like about him is his hand. That's about it. EDIT: Just noticed Drilldozer and Nitroblast have red Mahri tubes and Nitroblast has a trans-orange Meltdown container! Woohoo! September 28, 201014 yr Umm... Too bad these scream prototypes (hopefully), because I really want better color schemes. Also in the folder are the heroes (Heroes), The weapons look the same to me cept' for Breez and Surge (which is also the most 'different' from all the heroes).
September 28, 201014 yr *reads the text on the folder* Meh, no story information there... Apparently the heroes will future a combo system, allowing 2 heroes to form 1. They're also speaking about 3 new 22 minute animation movies on a known tv channel. And a big marketing campaign. The villains all are fire-based designs... Fire Lord is described as a cool bad guy every boy wants to have. Yeah... no. They'll all be released in March. All in all, horrible, horrible sets. Hero Factory's dead for me. I don't even think these new pieces of the heroes are Bionicle-compatible, because of this new building system the folder speaks off. They don't look compatible, at least. September 28, 201014 yr Another one here. According to this picture: Preston Stormer Commander Natalie Breez Close Combar William Furno Scout Mark Surge Sniper Bill Dozer Heavy Artillery Mac Brainy Tech Guy Drilldozer's a traitor? And where are Evo and Nex? EDIT: Plus, it seems the Heroes are reusing the Kanoka Club code thing. Edited September 28, 201014 yr by Lockon Stratos

September 28, 201014 yr Found them around here: http://www.rusbionicle.com/forumsbio/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=29216&view=unread The Heroes look much better in that group shot. As I said the masks change a big deal of things. Still not like Furno but the rest are mostly ok. Fire lord has preliminary written all over it, but I like the exo-force hands (edit: trans armor!) And the villain boxes: http://www.rusbionicle.com/forumsbio/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=29216&start=150 Edited September 28, 201014 yr by vexorian
September 28, 201014 yr Most of the Heroes only have one hand it appears. Ah well these glorified Firefighters look neat. The Villians look very interesting though, I hope we see some finished versions of them soon.
September 28, 201014 yr The heroes are looking awesome. I love how rather than each having a unique weapon piece, for the most part they share the weapon pieces but use them in vastly different ways. As I've said, Hero Factory is really coming into its own, proving its ability to remain independent of the BIONICLE building conventions we've come to know. I don't like the villains. As of yet, their color schemes seem horrendous, particularly the Fire Lord himself. Design-wise they're excellent, but those chaotic color schemes make it hard to interpret the armor. I like Fire Lord's helmet and feet. Also, just noticed that Drilldozer has black Bohrok teeth on the sides of his head. So builders more comfortable with the BIONICLE aesthetic will still find pieces that they consider MOCable in the coming wave. Overall I think Hero Factory is moving in a satisfactory direction, and will probably become more refined as it goes along.
September 28, 201014 yr Ah, after seeing them better I must say the Heroes are awesome. So is Fire Lord, if I can get the guy... The villains... Everyone looks quite nice to be preliminar. However, I have the impression I've already seen someone like Nitroblast in some place...
September 28, 201014 yr Just translated the text from many parts of the leaked Dutch catalog. This seemed like it might excite some people: The launch of LEGO Hero Factory is a high priority in 2011 and will receive marketing support in the form of different TV campaigns, strong web campaigns and a clear presence in the stores. Highlights include three new high-quality animated films of 22 minutes on a famous TV channel for children and an interactive website to design and purchase of unique heroes and make their own comics. If Google Translate is to be trusted, a lot of people are about to get what they've been asking for since even before Hero Factory began. This should be interesting to see how everything plays out.
September 28, 201014 yr I'll believe it when I see it. Also, I can't seem to see the last image. Anyone want to enlighten me/share it? Edited September 28, 201014 yr by Bfahome

September 28, 201014 yr I think that Fire Lord is Jimi Stinger, that changedhis side. The same with Bulk,i think.
September 28, 201014 yr Just translated the text from many parts of the leaked Dutch catalog. This seemed like it might excite some people: Snip If Google Translate is to be trusted, a lot of people are about to get what they've been asking for since even before Hero Factory began. This should be interesting to see how everything plays out. Wow, I have so many ideas. I would make three so I had my own hero team. No, I doubt both Bulk an Stringer have defected. More likely they have been protmroed to team leaders.
September 28, 201014 yr Wow, I have so many ideas. I would make three so I had my own hero team. No, I doubt both Bulk an Stringer have defected. More likely they have been protmroed to team leaders. Or maybe they're working ina different team that will be released later in 2011. Who knows? (Besides Lego?)
September 28, 201014 yr You mean this one? No I meant this one. It wouldn't load before but it works now. I like the fact that the limb pieces have ball joints in the middle of them. The armor attaching via socket joint is a bit meh, though, but it leads to some good customization possibilities.
September 28, 201014 yr I noticed on This picture that it states the positions of each hero at the top right hand corner: Preston Stormer Commander Natalie Breez Close Combat William Furno Scout Mark Surge Sniper Bill Dozed (Dozer)? Heavy Artillery Mac Brainy Tech Guy So maybe EVO and NEX are Codenames?
September 28, 201014 yr No, I think it may a hint of something else. Well I say that because Nex and Evo are a move away from cheesy names. Edit: just noticed the heros have their names printed on the silver armour plate. In customisation if that could be done...wow. Edited September 28, 201014 yr by The crazy one
