March 15, 201113 yr I just noticed that the recon chest piece looks like Rocka XL chest piece *facepalm* All the heroes have the exact same chest piece in the 2.0 and 3.0 waves, just in different colors. This includes Hero Recon and Rocka XL.
March 19, 201113 yr I like those characters Antrozek! They're very good, with just the right amount of detail. And, you remind me; When will Ordeal of Fire come out?
March 20, 201113 yr to cheer up the wait for Hero factory ordeal of Fire I did this, enjoy http://fc08.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2011/078/3/b/dat_heroes_by_armandoestebanquito-d3bz4yn.jpg My Little Heroes!
March 20, 201113 yr Funny and cute guys. I've already faved them on dA. x3 Edited March 20, 201113 yr by -N13OS-
March 23, 201113 yr new info on the ordeal of fire show! from bzpower: The latest episode, entitled Ordeal of Fire, will be shown on Nicktoons April 14th from 8-8:30 PM (presumably EDT, times may be slightly different in your area). A recap of the earlier four episodes will be shown beforehand from 6-8 PM.
March 23, 201113 yr Silly Nicktoons - a 2 hour recap is called playing all four episodes in their entirety. Hopefully someone will be able to record it when it airs, so that we won't need to wait as long as we did with the first series to watch it.
March 23, 201113 yr Found finalized pictures of the heroes here. They look cool and such. -Mesonak Nice find! I'll update the first post with those. Bulk's weapons are silver again, but there isn't much else new in those images. The 3D and special effects make them look wonderful as usual, but the actual sets will look no better than they did at Toyfair (aside from prototype parts). It's strange that in those images Furno looks the bulkiest of all the Heroes, despite his actual design being the opposite.
March 23, 201113 yr With this close of a look to 3.0 I think I will skip 2.0 because the 3.0 ones look more polished and use the same build system. The helmets are better being more bionicle like. I think that with the 2.0 helmets it was a good idea to have built ones, but the execution was not great because all helmets looked the same to me. In 3.0 that's not a problem anymore. It also seems the pieces used for the fingers and claws are going to be useful for system stuff. Those printed armor parts are going to be an annoyance if you want to use the parts for mocing. Instead of getting four black armor pieces with Stringer, you'll only get three. Edited March 23, 201113 yr by vexorian
March 23, 201113 yr So they are seriously gonna keep that ouchy green color of the ID badges?! 0_o Who came up with that idea?!
March 23, 201113 yr It's funny how everyone here has failed to notice that they all (excluding Bulk) ARE IN STOCK!
March 23, 201113 yr It's funny how everyone here has failed to notice that they all (excluding Bulk) ARE IN STOCK! Quick, somebody purchase all of them before TLC finds out and has them taken down!
March 23, 201113 yr Quick, somebody purchase all of them before TLC finds out and has them taken down! This can't be right can it? Its not even April :o .
March 23, 201113 yr So they are seriously gonna keep that ouchy green color of the ID badges?! 0_o Who came up with that idea?! I don't think it's that bad. It's just regular Transparent Green, which isn't especially bold, so it doesn't stand out as an eyesore IMO. And since most of the heroes only have two non-neutral colors, the color scheme doesn't end up looking cluttered. To me, it's really no worse than Stormer 2.0's name badge having orange printing for his name (which didn't match any of his parts but his eyepiece). Granted, the text on Stormer 2.0's name badge covers a lot less area than the entirety of the 3.0 name badges, but as I see it the effect is largely the same: it's just an additional color, independent of the main color scheme and neither helping nor harming it. In my opinion, a bigger issue is the design of the prints for the name badges. The stylized wing pattern with swooshing stripes featured on the 2.0 heroes felt perfectly appropriate for factory-produced futuristic heroes. The stylized animals of the 3.0 wave, on the other hand, seem sketchier, almost like graffiti (I'd much prefer a screen-printed look similar to Power Rangers emblems, and I was a kid who didn't even like Power Rangers growing up). And the graphical "name banner" makes it feel more like the cover of an old-fashioned propoganda pamphlet (kind of like the style of some Vahki ads back in the day) than a futuristic name badge. The colors are also somewhat garish on some of them-- Furno in particular stands out, and I wonder whether the garish red-and-yellow color fields might be part of the reason his secondary color did not appear on his 2.0 name badge. Overall, the transparent green doesn't bother me, but the name badges themselves remain a huge disappointment compared to the sleek simplicity of the 2.0 name badges.
March 23, 201113 yr I like the nameplates, Aanchir. These nameplates don't look factory-produced, but that seems to be the point this wave. They're customizations meant to set apart otherwise generic models. That's the vibe I get from the nameplates, anyway. The sets themselves are quite distinct from one another, which makes my interpretation suspect. Hm...
March 23, 201113 yr Quick, somebody purchase all of them before TLC finds out and has them taken down! BUY BUY BUY BUY !!
March 25, 201113 yr Not sure if anyone's spotted this, but there's a new challenge on the HeroPad. This one is about "Hero Moves", and is basically a game of dodging projectiles from a standing position. As with the Speed Building game, there's a hilarious introductory video featuring Zib and Stormer. The projectiles are a great source of nostalgia. They include everything from Dragon Masters helmets to Kanohi Komau. It's almost hard for an AFOL to play given how distracting those nostalgic moments can be!
March 27, 201113 yr What does Stringer represent, really? We've sort of established that he's a bear, but the animal on his hero badge resembles a snake. Hmm.

March 27, 201113 yr What does Stringer represent, really? We've sort of established that he's a bear, but the animal on his hero badge resembles a snake. Hmm. I think the animal on his hero badge looks like a bear. Where are you seeing snakelike attributes? Appearance-wise, he could be either a bear or a big cat (like a panther), but based on what we know he's almost certainly bear-inspired.
March 30, 201113 yr Frankly, I'm also not sooo fond of the translucent green badges. They stick a little bit out of their armour. If they had used a silver badge with some green on it, it would had worked better IMO. But anyway, I hadn't payed much attention to the name badges on the 2.0 heroes, so the 3.0 heroes badges won't bother me as well.
March 31, 201113 yr Witch Doctor Heroes, now it´s all about! Witch Doctor has dark plans for the jungle planet Quatros. He wants to steal the Quaza- the vital energy of the planet! He must stop him at all cost to save Quatros! But first you will have to overcome his malicious minions before being able to reach him!
