Bfahome Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 (edited) Not my fault that you're a BZPower member, and you've already seen these. If you're worried that non-BZP members won't see them, you could link to the posts they were in or link to the pictures themselves (which you ended up doing for some anyway). Making a video out of (most of) them seems like it would take much longer and make it hard to add in any pictures that come out later. It's a pretty inefficient way of doing things. But yeah, thanks Gatanui for the pictures Fixed. Also I still can't tell if those are definitely Exo-Force robot arms as fingers on some of them and that's bothering me aargh. The Dor Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 Also I still can't tell if those are definitely Exo-Force robot arms as fingers on some of them and that's bothering me aargh. Bulk almost definitely does, and it's probably safe to assume that Stormer, Rocka, and Nex do as well. Quote
Brickthing Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Wow, this is very early to be seeing non-leaked images of the next wave of sets. I'm really surprised that these images exist and (I'm assuming) were included in the game so early. The unique helmets look very promising, and although they're inflated in the images, I think they are accurate front views of the helmets. I hope there is a separate piece inside that connects the head to the helmet as with the 2.0 heads, although I doubt there will be. Stringer stands out the most for me, because of his (panther?) helmet and his colour scheme, which was last (properly) seen with Oohnorak. @Bfahome - they most likely all use Exo-force arms, because it wouldn't make sense to make a new similar piece that has the exact same purpose. Quote
The Crazy One Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 (edited) I reckon if you add in some white, Stringer is a panda! xD To my eyes, it seems like Rocka has no eye holes. Is he blind? Or maybe its the Rotor approach. EDIT: It seems that Bulk has a slightly modified torso. Oooh. Edited January 9, 2011 by The crazy one Quote
Aethersprite Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Well, I am not a BZP member so I haven't seen these pics. Thanks Jouster for posting them here. These pics have totally changed my opinion on most of the heroes. Rocka's helmet looks to have potential to be badass, though I'll wait to see actual finalized pictures before deciding. Furno also looks fabulous, I love his falcon theme, though his weapon is pathetic. I mean, seriously, Lego? Why did you reuse an old weapon? The wings are awesome, though, and I might still get him anyway. Quote
Ceroknight Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 these are also all close combat weapons, is furno's a bow or a sword? I mean I don't know about these heroes but I would try to defeat an enemy twice my size as far away as possible.. Quote
Bfahome Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 It's probably a blade. Also, the "defeating enemies from far away" strategy may actually be a bit more difficult in a dense jungle, so it makes sense that the heroes would have melee weapons. Quote

And yes, Furno 3.0 carries a double sided blade. Quote
Aethersprite Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 I don't know about you guys, but suddenly this whole animal theme is starting to remind me of Power Rangers. Quote
Darkness Falls Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Witch Doctor's legs look fantastic. And he comes with two of his skulls/helmets/masks! Quote
Front Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 (edited) Witch Doctor's legs look fantastic. And he comes with two of his skulls/helmets/masks! Please, can we have a competition about how many new styled y-joints, or ball-cup-hand (93571, not 93575 as I originally wrote) that guy has ? Hint: it's more than five Edited January 9, 2011 by Front Quote

Hint: it's more than five I love "Guess the number of jellybeans in the jar" games! Mainly from one of the Creep Crusher images, my guess is 17 y-joints - 3 at each hip, 2 for each ankle, 1 for each leg piston, 2 at each shoulder and 1 for the Zamor hand. I'm really pleased to see lots of individual red balljoints in Witch Doctor, both closed and recoloured Inika versions. Quote

And HF factory is based on robots not hobbits, so I think their fine! Quote

squidman85 Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 It seems to be that all 3.0 heroes have animal helms. What animal is on the Stormer's helmet? Quote

Baylego Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 These are looking cool! I definitely get the Mistika vibe from this wave. Also, I think Stormer's helmet looks rather like a hoplite helmet. Quote

Hint: it's more than five Are you implying that he has more than five of the hand pieces themselves (93575), or just that combined with the new y-joints is greater than five? Because if that guy has 5 of 93575, hot damn I need as many Witch Doctors as I can get. Too bad you really can't see much detail in them. :| But I like the way Raw-Jaw's mouth opens. As well as Fangz. I hope they both can do that in set form (it's pretty possible, seeing how the tusks are added in Raw Jaw's case at least) Quote

Because if that guy has 5 of 93575, hot damn I need as many Witch Doctors as I can get. oops, I got the number wrong, the y-joint is number 93571. The new five fingered hand is 93575, which I should know, because I put the text on the plastic piece I've edited my original post, changed the number to 93571. Count the number of y-joints only. Brickthing has guessed there is 17. Edited January 9, 2011 by Front Quote
Ceroknight Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 19 y joints I think but are the y joints the short new ones or the long new ones? Quote
SpiderSpaceman Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 (edited) Wait, what's the wye we're all talking about? EDIT: ah, duh, nevermind. I was thinking of something akin to 57585 Edited January 9, 2011 by SpiderSpaceman Quote
Front Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 93571, a ball cup with three cross holes, is the newest version of this part: Ball cup with 3 cross holes Brickthing: 17 ceroknight 19 Btw. you will need something like a hammer to break it. Quote
Kenta Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 (edited) I stand corrected. Waspix looks great but wheres his stinger, Witch Doctor just went from good to just bleh.
