Jetrax99 Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 (edited) As long as he get better arms... yeah! Btw, I just noticed some of my 1.0 HF sets (Von Nebula is one of them) has the older joints, not the new 2010 sockets. if by older joints you're referring to the ones LEGO rolled out w/ the Phantoka in 2008, all 1.0 sets are supposed to have them. seems the new 2011 sockets are just a chance thing in the 1.0 sets, especially w/ Rotor. I meant the new 2010 sockets. They were introduced with the first HF wave and look slightly different from the 2008-sockets. Von Nebula, Stormer and Bulk got the old 2008-sockets, while Thunder and Xplode got the new 2010 sockets. Quote

I just compared Thunder's joint to the old 08/09 version and there is a slight difference. in the axle connector there's a small opening below the hole for the ball socket where as it was closed on the old ones. The design of the actual ball cup is the same. What has changed is that the axle hole (cross hole) has gone from a closed type, to a type that has an opening (as seen on many Technic beams). This open type is much better, ensuring consistent friction when putting an axle (cross axle) into it. The function and strength of the ball cup is to my knowledge unchanged. If you look at different LEGO parts, you will be able to identify several types of cross holes. Some are better than others, when it comes to consistent function. I clearly stated "in the axle hole" was where the small opening was, below the ball socket itself. you're not correcting me, your just providing an elaborate version of what I said. Quote
duncan bulk Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 The current 2.0 figures are really well made and have a good amount of articulation. I know I have two, Stormer and Evo to be precise. Quote

ZORK64 Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Hmmm... that does seem strange that Dropship was never seen there.. I just recently checked the German Lego site, and while the Drop ship is listed among the vehicles there, it's also noted that the Dropship isn't available in Germany. Quote

Antrozek Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Wait where is more pages of the comic? Im asking the pencils artist of the comics. I have the feeling the comic is not going to be released due to the perish of a great comic book colorist, Jonny Rench, who died in 17th october due to a heart attack. rest in peace. he was the colorist of the Hero factory covers along with Carlos D' Anda in the linework. At least I think that's the main reason Quote

I really hope if they have new comics they are not easily sketched like the 2008/2009 comics...that would be bad if that happen P.s We should start getting more Hero factory 3.0 pictures, toyfair is getting closer and this is around the time we get more pictures of summer sets Quote
Jouster Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Binkmeister said he will post the 3rd and 4th comic on the website soon. He got the files for those two comics. So you'll have to be patient. Also, we need more summer wave pictures! Quote

Kenta Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 I just got Corroder replacement parts too, and NEW STYLE! I also ordered some 2006 replacement parts and i am still wondering if it will be in new style. Quote

I just ordered an old version of a hand, you know the one that they once used as hands but didn't look like hands at all. Quote

Well then there's a chance, but I wouldn't get too hopeful. There may still be some old sockets that they need to get rid of (see: Jetbug). Quote

Kenta Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 I have a question for Front or whatever person that knows about lego parts, and I just ordered a very old bionicle lego replacement part for Vezon and Fenrakk, I normally get replacement parts very quickly but this ones taking a while, is it possible they are no more specific parts for that set because the rest have been used?
