The grren nameplates are starting to grow on me, But i wish they woud be stickers, and actual colored plates, not trans green..

Ya but if they are real people shud be prepared for the worst because u know if they go with a pirate theme the heroes will look pretty stupid...or maybe not but either way im getting them :classic:

Call me crazy but I thought Witch Doctor's villain laugh was pretty badass.

AHAHAHAHAHAHA-HAHAHAHA!

Classic evil right there. I really like this villain. Maybe not as scary as Fire Lord was capable of being or as supervillainish as Nebula was, but he's got his own sort of charm. Once again, the villains are my favorite characters in this wave.

Hi. I may be a bit slow realizing this, so sorry if it's old news, but I was looking at the website where the Savage Planet DVD cover was found, and I couldn't help but notice that it has a running time of 88 minutes. Do we know how many episodes there will be for this wave, or whether the Savage Planet episode will have a longer running time than the previous episodes? 88 minutes is the same as the running time for "Rise of the Rookies", so even if the Ordeal of Fire episode is included (which I hope it is, seeing as I missed its original broadcast), we've still got at least an hour and a half for the third wave when you include commercial breaks.

Of course, it's possible this site has the running time wrong for whatever reason, but since all their other info seems to be specific to this DVD and not copied from RotR, I think it's probably legit.

It will be 88 minutes, since I'm pretty sure LEGO may have comissioned same number of episodes. Also, if Ordeal of Fire is included, it may very well be as an extra.

Quick question: Every 2.0 model are build with a headgear? Apart from the Alpha Team and Recon Team.

Come on LEGO, make it worldwide, we miss combiners terribly.

It's just the same combination model (I hate the term "combiner") as right here, as advertised in the Furno 2.0 and Evo 2.0 sets. I'm not sure why you think that making this set worldwide would bring such models back into the mainstream-- fyi, the first canister set combi model to be released as a boxed set of its own was Irnakk in 2006, just before canister set combi models disappeared from instruction booklets altogether.

Of course, I've always been cynical about complaints that combi models "disappeared" at any point, since as I see it they got considerably better once TLG was no longer obligated to have one for every set. I'd take a Pit War Tortoise or Zyglak over a Bohrok Kaita any day. Thankfully, even though we've gone full-circle and now have a combi model for every canister set once again, they're not totally horrendous (and are in fact a considerable improvement over the monstrosity that was Lucas Valor). At the same time, there's now even less justification for "missing" combi models when they're now just as available as they ever were.

the only i reson I would want it is because of the 2 promo builds

Does anyone know what the promotional sets included in this are?

EDIT: Nevermind, I read the Brickipedia page wrong...it includes INSTRUCTIONS to make two promotional sets? is that right? sounds a bit weird to me. Very illogical. Now I'm baffled.

I think the "promotional sets" would be the combiner and another 2.0 combiner using Furno and Evo instead of the intended Heroes. Or perhaps it is referring to Furno and Evo themselves as promotion sets as they are part of the promotional combo-set. It may just be a translation quirk. :sceptic:

Ehh... The first combiner to get a box, and I can tell you for sure, was the Rahskhi Kaita. It was an official set, I found it on an Spanish retailer, got three Rahkshi + Tahnok Va that way :D

Also, thanks for the note, I didn't catch it earlier.

EDIT: Regarding to shadow's post: Thank you! BTW, let me tell you you guys have a heck of a good gallery there :D

I was looking at some of the videos on the Hero Factory website when I came across one called "Ordeal of Fire Episode Recap". In a nutshell it was a short commentary on some of the scenes of Ordeal of Fire, explaining the story. The interesting thing is that at the end it says "Look out for the DVD Autumn 2011". This leads me to believe it will be an extra on the Savage Planet disc.

I'd just want to mention that I bought Furno 3.0 yesterday. Since he's still unopened, I'll make a review of him today (and eventually, I'll also give the combiner of Bulk and Furno a try).

Zork64, that sounds good. Does anybody here remember the fake Bionicle? Well, long time ago they were selling this kind of combiner sets but using Visorak combiners. I believe that is the momento to do combiners with every HF set. Because the new joints are unbreakable. So it would be a great idea to make this combiner sets and sell them like special editions, like Irnakk.

There's more than that out there- My korean friend says that there are ALWAYS clone brands on stores called "Invisibility robots" and "Super bots" and some more megablocks (Just noticed that swearing turns into the word megablocks. ).

Anyways, I checked Toys r us yesterday if they had the new sets. They did, but when I tried to buy it, the scanning screen thingy says: Item does not exist. Had a frown in my face all day then. :hmpf_bad: Happened to anyone else?
