Darth Yogi Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 Oh wow!!! The shape is superb and this looks very accurate. The guns seriously look perfect. Can't wait to see a bottom view. Great job Quote

XimenaPaulina Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 Trust me, at this point, you don't want to see the bottom. It's ugly. Yeah, I think that's the part that most MOCers always neglect (like me). I see no point doing to much effort on the underside which will never be shown in the MOC. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted December 4, 2010 Author Posted December 4, 2010 Yeah, I think that's the part that most MOCers always neglect (like me). I see no point doing to much effort on the underside which will never be shown in the MOC. After fallenangel provided a reliable source for the bottom, though, I'm going to redo it. Quote
Fallenangel Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 Cockpit seems a bit high. Great none the less. I like the use of that piece on the ends of the guns. The canopy on the actual model is quite tall, and it is noticeably angled in the rear. Other MOCers tend to add only a single plate's thickness, but I think the rearmost section is a bit taller than that. Yeah, I think that's the part that most MOCers always neglect (like me). I see no point doing to much effort on the underside which will never be shown in the MOC. They'll see it if you take pictures... I remember how much time I spent trying to get the bottom of my X-wing to look more like this guy's. The bottom is just as much a part of a ship as the top, and in some cases it's more (for example, the Star Destroyer - who could forget that monstrous hangar bay). Quote
Praiter Yed Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 I think this could be the definitive minifig scale, MOC snowspeeder . After fallenangel provided a reliable source for the bottom, though, I'm going to redo it. ...Although it seems like it's time at the top could be brief? Quote

I think this could be the definitive minifig scale, MOC snowspeeder . ...Although it seems like it's time at the top could be brief? You haven't even seen all the features yet, but v. 2 should make this one crude and obsolete. Quote
Legostein Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 Hello! Well, I guess all praises have already been said, but let me congratulate also to this felicitous creation. It provides instantly the feeling of watching "The Empire Strikes Back". My favourite detail is the little top window of the canopy. Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
General Magma Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 Very nice! Fantastic work there, this should have been the kind of snowspeeder TLC releases. Immediately reminds me of the Battle of Hoth. Great work! ~ General Magma Quote

Ras 74 Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 There has been many really great MOC´s of the T-47 through the years. It is not easy to come up with something that makes one MOC seperate more than another. But I think you really made it in this creation! It is very good and unique. Quote

Copying other MOCs isn't exactly my favorite pastime, and looking at existing designs, SNOT was an easy choice to set mine apart. Quote
