Mrlegoninja Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 Yes, you can join. There are a lot of us that are from North America and South America. I don't think it would be right if this site was called "Ameribricks" So, welcome to Eurobricks! I hopw you enjoy the forum! Quote
Walter Kovacs Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 Americans are more than welcome here at Eurobricks. So welcome aboard! Care to tell us what themes you like? Quote

Isaac5 Posted December 3, 2010 Author Posted December 3, 2010 Americans are more than welcome here at Eurobricks. So welcome aboard! Care to tell us what themes you like? I like almost anything system, and some Bionicle here and there. I don't really like technic. of course i don't mind technic elements in system models, but i don't like how technic sets A) aren't minifig scale, and B) don't include a lot of studs and stuff. I am also real into Brick Comics ( The BCN is what re-interested me in LEGO) and I am currently working on one of my own. thanks for all the warm welcomes! Will i have to convert everything I say about price to Euros? Quote
The Soup Nazi Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 thanks for all the warm welcomes! Will i have to convert everything I say about price to Euros? No, you can say the American price! And welcome to Eurobricks! I hope you enjoy your stay here! Quote
Zeya Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 I had similar questions when I joined. I would add that if you take a look at reviews, you'll see them list 3 or more prices, sometimes estimating the price for other markets. They'll usually list Euro, USD, and AUD. Note that the US and Germany are the largest Lego markets, at least that's what people say. It seems that the US gets better prices than any other country, leading to a little bit of jealousy and grumbling. Note also that people on here post in English. But for some it's a second language so don't confuse bad grammar / leet speek for people trying their best to communicate in their second language. You should read the rules post or whatever it's called (let me find it...) : http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=18718 Also, see the rest of the pinned topics here for other important stuff: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showforum=6 Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 Well, the name of the site sure seem a bit misleading especially to newcomers, but once you browse the forums you'll see that the members come from every corner of the world. This is a worldwide online community which doesn't limit any nationality from joining. I maybe even correct to assume that Americans comprise majority of the members here in EB. So welcome Isaac! Enjoy the forums here. Quote
Rick Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 Hello, I live in America, was born and raised in America, and have never left America. Ever. Does this mean that I can't join this website? because I'm not from Europe? Sorry, you have to have been abroad at least once. Naah, welcome to Eurobricks Isaac. It started as a pan-European AFOL community, but quickly took over the world. The name never changed, the current subtitle - "Uniting LEGO Fans around the world" - should tell you you're welcome here. Quote
