Spider-Man Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 It looks like a customized old Poison Ivy head to me? Quote
DarkKnightRises Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 It's a custom minifig I had machine printed! The goggles are the actual goggles from the movie. The camera didn't focus to good on her, I'll have to take another one. But to be exact it's an blank head with goggles from the movie and red lips macine printed on it. Quote

That's pretty cool, if you want to get better pictures of her you could make a light box or something, that'll generate more light and your camera should take a better picture. Quote
DarkKnightRises Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 This is a better picture but the hair is the wrong color... Quote
______ Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 *Picture snip* That's an awesome picture, and awesome Bat. Quote

Oky Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 Great pictures everyone! DarkKnightRises, your pictures need some work though. They're kinda blurry and washed-out. Here are a couple of shots from me. First, one for Marvel... BANG! Just kidding. by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr ... and one for DC, based on the Superman Returns poster, and using the new Endor planet and some forced perspective. Flying into Space by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr And here's a group shot of some of my licensed figs together with Stephanie and my sigfig at a party celebrating the first anniversary of my Flickr Pro account. 2 More Years of Pro! by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Thanks for watching! Vindicare Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Wow, Oky! That Superman one is awesome. Thanks for the new background. Quote
BaraSH Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 Oky, I have a similar photo. But Superman flies to the Earth . Quote
Oky Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Wow, Oky! That Superman one is awesome. Thanks for the new background. Thanks, and you're welcome. Oky, I have a similar photo. But Superman flies to the Earth . Not bad! Although yours seems to be photoshopped whereas mine isn't. I simply attached Superman to a rod and stuck it on the planet (the rod is hidden behind his other leg in the pic). Quote
The Penguin Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 (edited) Four studs on your pic, Oky, look to me like some kind of a cathaclism, happening on the surface of the planet! Why is Superman leaving then?! Good day, ladies and gentlemen! ) Edited August 20, 2012 by The Penguin Quote
Oky Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 Four studs on your pic, Oky, look to me like some kind of a cathaclism, happening on the surface of the planet! Why is Superman leaving then?! I think it's best not to read too much into this picture. Someone on Flickr also pointed out that there are no recognizable continents on the planet, suggesting that this is prehistoric Earth, but I never said that this was supposed to be Earth. Maybe he really is coming from Endor. Quote
purpleparadox Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 Holy smokes, Oky! That Superman-in-flight one, is one of the best Lego photographs I've ever seen! I'm using it as an iPod Touch lockscreen, if that's okay. Quote
Runamuck Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 I hope it is OK that I post a couple of shots here from by Avatar works where I tried experimenting at bit with angles and light sources, even if it is all custom figures. This picture is based on the episode “Lake Laogai”. The camera takes a look over Long Feng’s shoulder, as he admires his handiwork that caused Jet’s demise. This picture is based on the episode “The Storm”. The crew is sitting below deck and Iroh is telling Zuko’s story. Quote
Oky Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 Wow, that second pic looks great, Runamuck! Holy smokes, Oky! That Superman-in-flight one, is one of the best Lego photographs I've ever seen! I'm using it as an iPod Touch lockscreen, if that's okay. Thanks! And sure, it's okay, I'm glad you guys have use for it. Quote
Runamuck Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 I also made two more light experiments, after someone gave me a request for some scenes from ”The Cave of Two Lovers”. Love is brightest in the dark Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 I don't know if this one fits better in the Funnies or this Photography Thread, though I'm not sure if it's funny so I guess I'll just post it here. Superheroes Everywhere by Kiel.Da.Man (flickr) An image I initially planned as part of my Heroic Heroes of the Deep Review but didn't make the final cut. As you'll recognize it's based on a popular meme and aptly describes the current state of the Licensed Themes. Quote
Walter Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 I think it would've fit in the funnies fine! Buzz sure seems happy that there are so many superheroes. Quote
Oky Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 I also made two more light experiments, after someone gave me a request for some scenes from ”The Cave of Two Lovers”. Great lighting again! I don't know if this one fits better in the Funnies or this Photography Thread, though I'm not sure if it's funny so I guess I'll just post it here. Haha, nice one, Kiel! I guess it was just a matter of time before someone (ab)used the Toy Story figs for this meme. I agree with Walter though; since there's so much editing going on and the focus is on the context rather than the picture itself, this would have been better off in the funnies thread. Quote
Bilbo Baggins Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 Great KielDaMan, I believe your picture applies to both forums Quote
Spider-Man Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 My first contribution! LEGO Spidey only likes being photographed by Peter Parker! I have some more pictures on my Flickr account! Quote
