Clone OPatra Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 BTW, Harry is a bit out of focus Is that a bad thing? Selective focus makes for interesting photographs (just not usually in reviews!). I like the shot Oky. Harry's childish grin is perfect in that situation. Quote
Praiter Yed Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 (edited) Been working from home today, but all I've done is photograph Lego I wouldn't say photography is something I'm particularly good at, I don't have the 'photographers eye' or a great camera. Hope these are acceptable. BTW I really like Cutlass Iz shots and my favourite is the one of Ron - the orange background and orange hair look good imo. Edited January 20, 2011 by Praiter Yed Quote

prateek Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 The Woody one is the best one yet! It would be funny if Samuel L Jackson showed up to say his snakes on a plane spiel. Quote

The Penguin Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Great shot, smokebelch! Thanks for sharing! I'm sending you my sigfig if you make him a portfolio! What macro-lens are you using? smokebelch Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Thanks Penguin What macro-lens are you using? I still haven't bought a proper one for my new camera, so I could use your advice, should you be so kind to help me. ) I've not got an expensive camera, and it only has a fixed lens so can't really help with advice on that front im afraid. I would like to upgrade to a DSLR at some point, but im pretty happy with the results I can get from mine at the moment. I've got a fujifilm bridge type camera, which gives me a bit of flexibility to play round with the settings- was £150, though ive had it a couple of years now. Also has a pretty good macro which is a must for Lego shots ... And speaking of which, here's a new one from me, finnally got round to picking up a Mola Ram figure from Bricklink, always one of my favourite charachters, and an awesome minifig!
