JackJonespaw Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Nice ones, Oky and Masked! Because I'm curious, I combined the last two of Oky's to see what I could get: Pretty nice! Quote
Oky Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Thanks, guys. As you can see, the order in which I posted those pictures was not coincidental. I'm glad you noticed. And yes, the white on Tony's face is quite misprinted, sadly. Perhaps I should send that pic to TLG. Quote
George G. Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 (edited) After a week of patiently waiting, my Avengers sets finally arrived in the post I am slightly disappointed by my Iron Man's helmet as the left side looks as though its been attacked with P60 sand paper I'll have to file for a replacement piece. Any-who, photo time! Edited May 9, 2012 by George G. Quote
K-Nut Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Love that movie poster shot, Oky! Had to set it as my background. Quote
Oky Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Not bad! Here's some more from me, featuring everyone's favorite patriot! Captain America by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Cap Attack by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr And here's another great scene from The Avengers! I'm not gonna put this one in spoiler tags since you can see this scene in the trailers. Putting the Hammer Down by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Quote
K-Nut Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Not bad! Here's some more from me, featuring everyone's favorite patriot! Great, now should my Desktop background be Iron Man or Cap? I can't decide! Quote
Artanis I Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 And here's another great scene from The Avengers! I'm not gonna put this one in spoiler tags since you can see this scene in the trailers. I don't watch trailers, for the very reason that they have spoilers in them... Quote
Oky Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 Great, now should my Desktop background be Iron Man or Cap? I can't decide! Do you have Windows 7? If so, you can have it cycle between the two. I don't watch trailers, for the very reason that they have spoilers in them... 1. Are you saying that I should put it spoiler tags? 2. Are you saying that you still haven't seen the Avengers? Quote
Artanis I Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 1. Are you saying that I should put it spoiler tags? 2. Are you saying that you still haven't seen the Avengers? Well I wasn't necessarily saying either, just that because it's in a trailer doesn't mean everyone already knows about it. But no, I haven't actually seen the movie yet though all my friends have. I'm a cheapskate with plenty of patience, I'll watch it on video on my own terms. (cinema prices where I live are stupid, not enough local competition) Quote
Masked Builder Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 Great Cap shot Oky, I was thinking of doing one myself. Quote
Vindicare Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 Well I wasn't necessarily saying either, just that because it's in a trailer doesn't mean everyone already knows about it. (cinema prices where I live are stupid, not enough local competition) Prices definitely suck when it comes to theaters. But, there's always those movies that are worth seeing in one, I think this is one of those movies. The action and explosions is just awesome and worth seeing on the big screen. Quote
TheLegoJoker Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 @MightyMegs - Nice nurse Joker picture. I did the same thing myself, except I took some Brasso to the darkened sides to remove the "hourglass" figure from the torso. Now I have a set of male and female scrubs. :) Quote

Solscud007 Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 (edited) Upon building the Modular Town Hall, it reminded me of the Dark Knight Rises scene shot in Pittsburgh, PA in front of the Mellon Institute. Here is a street view of the building they used in Pittsburgh. Edited May 14, 2012 by Solscud007 Quote
JackJonespaw Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Nice Batman pic, Solscud007! If you could edit an explosion in there, this picture would be 100% fantastic! Quote
