LEGO Guy Bri Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 Hello everyone at Eurobricks (especially those who read this). I am still relatively new to this forum and have searched through much of this site. I have a serious problem and can't find a solution to it and have tried to contact administration or help to no avail. Before I get to that I will tell a little about my history with Lego. Or just move down to my problem :) I have colected Lego since 1994 and now returned as an AFOL as of 2009 and a 7 year dark age. I have a very large city layout in a 3-1/2 foot by 13 foot, windowless, purified air, closet/room. I hope to get pictures as soon as I get a better camera. The city contains sets from 1982-pres.. As of returning to Lego in 2009 I have quickly been purchasing every set I wanted as a child in the 90's, as well as, many from the 80's. So thank you Lego S@H & Ebay. I am currently trying to expand my city into a bigger room as I can no longer add buildings, train tracks, or even road plates to my current city. Only a little more than half of my current collection is on display. The other sets are sadly in plastic bins or still in their box in my attic. Atleast they aren't getting dusty or tainted by the sun! My total collection consists of 518 city/town sets, 186 of them are duplicates, as well as 40+ MOCs, 40+ OPCs (other peoples creations), 15 lb parts bin, and still growing. I love building sets and MOCs, but as possibly being OCD I just can't take pieces from a set to use in a MOC anymore. So, lately, I just use left over pieces for more realism in current sets (i.e. engines, drivetrains, building interior/exteriors etc). That is about all for Lego and I. Now on to my problem. By the way I cannot contact administrators for help and the Help section doesn't seem to have answers. I've tried. Ok, I cannot view or have permission to view other members profiles (code #10221) or even view my profile (code #10245). This is driving me nuts! Please someone tell me what the deal is and how to correct this. I hope I am not breaking any rules by asking this, but I have no more options and I really like this site. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Quote
KimT Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 You need 10 posts in order to have profile and gallery access. Now why did you pick a name like that? Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 (edited) Welcome to Eurobricks Leg Godt Gud! Nice intro, seems you have a great collection, do post your city/town layout here when you have the time. Now regarding your problem: I believe you have to reach the rank of Vassal first (10+ posts) in order to use both the Private Messaging and View Member Profiles functions. That's the simplest answer to your problem. Well, hope you have fun here. See you around! EDIT: Ah, I see KimT beat me to it. Edited December 11, 2010 by KielDaMan Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted December 11, 2010 Author Posted December 11, 2010 You need 10 posts in order to have profile and gallery access. Now why did you pick a name like that? Thank you for your help. That makes sense. I must have over looked that. As for the name, trasnlated its "play well God" or broken down to Lego God. Chosen bc I have large city and in that aspect I am its "creator" or God, as in, I can choose my layouts prosperity or fate. I don't take it serious, rather humorous, but I also kept it in Danish in homage of Lego home country, thats all. I'm pretty sure I translated it properly. If not, well Anyway thanks again for your help! Welcome to Eurobricks Leg Godt Gud! Nice intro, seems you have a great collection, do post your city/town layout here when you have the time.
