January 11, 201114 yr Author Neat idea for my city or town nice job. Thanks 'jth781' for your comments. I'm going to take more photos tomorrow......I'm a conformist! !
January 11, 201114 yr Before I do a mega photo shoot so I can send/show them to the Landmark people (I promised them), any MORE ideas and suggestions for what could go in or outside.....I'm still thinking of some fencing gear.....but anything else ? They should be more than pleased when they see it. The latest updates are great, I hadn't seen the interior until now. Not entirely familiar with Landmark's product range. Perhaps a length of chain or roll of rope inside, a stack of timber or corrugated iron out the back. Bundle of star pickets or the donger you bang them in with. Feed troughs for sale. I like your idea of a little mixed business on the other side of the river, they might need it if they have a flood and the bridge is closed. Maybe you could have an attached cafe with an outdoor dining area looking over the river to the main town. Are you going to do any residential properties? Keep on exploring that Aussie angle. :-) :classic: Edited January 11, 201114 yr by AussieJimbo
January 11, 201114 yr Author Now if you dive back into my past years MOC's I've done lots of farm gear....I guess rebirthing them here might be a good idea ! Feed troughs, good idea.....dam, I forgot the fence posts.....tomorrow I'll be busy. Now a cafe.....well over the other side of river will be the roadhouse with a cafe/diner in it. I'll have a good head scratch over it, the pub and stock yard still to come...oh and the silo to be completed and all by April for a rail show ! Keep on watching everyone !
January 12, 201114 yr Author A stock of fence posts are going in tomorrow......so too fresh pictures to be taken.....Keep on watching !
January 14, 201114 yr Author I have taken fresh pictures yesterday, but which of the front view shots should I send to Landmark ? Now a fresh rear view shot, the black piece is the fence post rack.....though missing stock right now....a stack of 4 and 5 long tech axles are needed. Brick On Everyone !
January 15, 201114 yr Author Which shot first, second or third ? Please don't make me ask my wife.......I trust you guys and girls more than her when it comes to Lego ! I'm seriously thinking about starting work on the pub this week, it will be modelled on the pub in the main street of Wentworth on River Darling. Keep on watching !
January 15, 201114 yr Hi LT, shot number 3 is definitely the one to go with. By far the best composition, nice angle showing the shop and the ute and you can see the welcoming minifigure and the 60 sign rather than having one obscured by the other. :classic: Edited January 15, 201114 yr by AussieJimbo

Well, next the pub and silos for me.......keep on watching !

January 17, 201114 yr Author Great job mate. :classic: Thanks 'AussieJimbo' , I'll be printing one off tomorrow and sending it to Landmark - maybe I'll get more feedback like a month ago my latest post office was twitted on Aust Post web site. Brick On Everyone !
January 18, 201114 yr Excellent job on the shot. The background looks like it fits in perfectly with the scene.
January 18, 201114 yr Author Excellent job on the shot. The background looks like it fits in perfectly with the scene. Thanks 'dr_spock' for your kind comment, well I'll try shooting more town shots at such parks that I usually take my dog to for a runaround. Keep on watching (more new stuff tomorrow !)
April 8, 201113 yr Author Okay, a major change has been made can you guess and then guess why ? There's a gap.....16 stud with a driveway along side this store so what might it be.....hmm, might be for a new tyre dealer eh ? Comments etc., always welcome....keep on watching.....only a week to go to train show ! Edited April 8, 201113 yr by lightningtiger
April 8, 201113 yr Great rearrange 'Lt' Looks great for a tire center or something similar. Keep us posted
April 8, 201113 yr Author Great rearrange 'Lt' Looks great for a tire center or something similar. Keep us posted Well actually the tyre centre is the reason for the redesign of LM store there, hence the gap between this and CBC store.....check out the TOWN - New Mannum....etc., page and you'll see what I mean. Brick On !
April 8, 201113 yr Author Nice work. I love the truck. Thanks 'city boy', it's a Holden ute (or it could be a Ford.....think it's more Holden though ). How about you designing something like this on LDD eh ? You're rail maintance guys/girls need somewhere to buy there tools-of-the-trade ? Keep watching everyone, because the tiger isn't finished yet !
April 9, 201212 yr Author In this shape and form it's being CUUSOO'ed ! Cuusoo web page for Rural / Farmers Supply Depot Like it, vote for it if you wish to.....remember we need more buildings in city. My wish would be for others to post their designs on Cuusoo too.
April 9, 201212 yr Author A tad bit too much chop-cuusooey lately there, eh tiger? Not really , seeing all the sci-fi stuff on Cuusoo I thought city needs to speak up.....I hope others bring their MOC's to the Cuusoo table. I don't care if it's mine or someone else's MOC's make the 10000 cut, but city does need more buildings. Perhaps our ideas will inspire Lego to create even more different styled modulars....who knows ?
