Thanks for droppoing by and sharing those other MOCs, I'm afraid the pirate obsessed misunderstood my original pitch of your MOC. Great work all the same!

I would say he used too many peices for that to be a classic set. If lego made the same design they would use burps and lurps. Also lego wouldnt put those tile peices so they sat loosly in the archways. However it is an amazing moc, I love steampunk.

Ah yes, I was waiting for Mr Cleese to come along and mention steampunk. This steampunk must be a very "loose" genre if this MOC can be related that easily to it!

It would appear anything with a historic background but brought into the modern day or future can be classified as Steampunk! I suppose the building I'm writing this very message in is a great steampunk location for it was once a jam factory but now its converted into a university. There are still remenants of the old jam factory like the plumbing and conveyor belts that have been intentionally left as decorations due to their historic signifigance creating this amalgamation of old and new....

for it was once a jam factory but now its converted into a university.

Which Uni is that? Sounds like amazingly obscure piece of trivia...hence my interest! X-D
