That's really incredible, Wow! Lots of patience (and minifigs of course) by whoever did that.

This is at Lego HQ in Billund, so whoever made this was paid, and had all the minifigs in the world to his/her disposal. Still, none of that takes away from the pure awesomeness!

Um, wow is all I can say. That's ridiculous.

So, a Lego logo made out of bricks, or plates or tiles or 1x1 rounds wouldn't be?

That looks really cool, I bet it looks even better in person. I knew there was one in Billund from the 2010 meetup pictures.

It is really cool to see in person. I didn't even realize what it actually was until I was right up next to it, because you have to see it from the side to recognize what's going on. Also, the ones in the Rockefeller Center don't look as large and filled-in as the Billund one does, so I'm sure it's an impressive sight.

Oh, the LEGO logo made out of bricks, plates or tiles would be very impressive indeed. But using thousands of minifigs just has a certain style. Plus the fact that it has to be larger to incorporate minifigs as opposed to 1 x 1 plates. And we all know how much more expensive minifigs are compared to 2 x 4 bricks or 1 x 1 plates. Don't think that isn't in everyone's subconscious.

Just imagine stepping on that carpet and walking around on it a bit back and forth! Hear the Lego breaking and cracking and bursting in your mind...

That's a very elegant torture, sir.

Gotta admit that the Logo would be perfect on that white empty wall of mine.... can't imagine how fun must be dusting it :D

That's the one I remember. I think it was in the video of the interview with the head of design for Star Wars, the one where everyone went rabid after zooming in and seeing blurry Hoth BPs in the background.
