lt.Gonville brickhead Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 (edited) [pid][/pid] 103b This is a ship I made because I grew tired of the Brickbeards bounty It is a medium class 6 frigate (according too Evil stevie anyway) This is the rear view The Captain's cabin (I will update it soon) The weapon and powder storage A view of the side A view of the wheel A slight view of the gundeck The figurehead Edited February 23, 2011 by Captain Blackmoor Quote
Dan the Brickman Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 The checkered gunflaps really set this one apart. Overall, looks like a fun play ship. Quote
Tazmaniac Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 looks good, if I could make one suggestion .... maybe move the front mast forward 2 or 3 studs. Quote
Big Cam Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 Good looking ship, I especially like the name on the back, it really has that real ship feel to it. Quote
Admiral Croissant Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 Nice tumblehome, figurehead, name and stern. And also a nice new way of using the idea of 'Nelson's chequer' Maybe it could use another rope or sail from the mast to the bowsprit to make the bowsprit more useful. Still, nice ship Quote
Cherno Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 Good use of the "racing flags". Looks very interesting. The angled lanterns onthe stern looks kinda weird to me, though Quote

Capn Frank Posted December 16, 2010 Posted December 16, 2010 The design of the overall hull flows very nice. I like your tumblehome effect. The captain's cabin is very uniquely done, but it still looks nice. It's too bad you couldn't fit more windows in it. Good job on your vessel Lt. The main improvement I could see being done to this vessel is to spread the gun ports out and move a couple onto the bow. Lt. Gonville, you mentioned that this vessel is a 10 gun frigate. However I see that the broadside has only four guns. Where are the other two guns? Quote
