robt Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Thank you for your reply, but BlueBrick is for Windows only. Quote
alainneke Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 It also runs on the Mac, but you'll need to install Mono first (see http://bluebrick.lswproject.com/download.html). Downside of Mono is that you won't get the native OS X look and feel. While not specifically made for designing LEGO layouts, I usually use RailModeller (shareware, see http://www.railmodeller.com/). This program also includes a track designer, so you can create and add custom tracks (R56, etc) yourself. Regards, Alain Quote
robt Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Yes, thank you Alain. I don't want to install the Mono framework only to use Bluebrick. RailModeller doesn't have flexible tracks. My question is if anyone knows how to use LEGO Track Planner flash-based app, that has been recently removed from LEGO website. Quote
DaveBey Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 It looks like the entire www.city.lego.com/trains site is 'gone.' LEGO redirects the URL back to www.city.lego.com. Perhaps contacting LEGO Customer Service may be the next step? Cheers from Claremore, Oklahoma USA! Dave Quote
robt Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Thank you, Dave. I've just sent an email to LEGO Customer Service. Quote
Blondie-Wan Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 (edited) LEGO has recently removed its official Track Planner. http://city.lego.com...ackplanner.aspx Aw, man, I didn't even realize they'd had an official track planner - of course I find out only after it's gone. Ah, well... Edited January 11, 2013 by Blondie-Wan Quote
robt Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 I've just found it hidden in a subpage of Italian website. Here's the link. http://city.us.lego.com/it-it/applications/trackplanner.aspx Quote
