JimBee Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 I have to agree with everyone who said the original (leather jacket) Indy. Great color scheme, perfectly fitted to the on-screen version. The little details like stubble and the metallic printed zipper really bring out character. I also like his accessories, especially the murse. Another great one is the S2 mime. With his three faces, there's so much charm and character. I love the beret and printed arms. Quote
LegoGarlicBread Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 The Joker, of course! He's so simple, yet so accurate. He's also rare (along with most other Batman stuff). Quote
Piranha Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Tough call here is my short list Cloud City Boba Fett Cloud City Lando Chrome Darth Vader Chrome Gold C-3P0 Spartan Indiana Jones Pirate Quote
Commander Laquiet Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 This was a good topic to revive. I would have to say that my favourite (notice favourite, not best) minifigure is Johnny Thunder. He has no back or leg printing, and he is definitely not the most detailed minfig ever made, but there is a wonderful charm to him - he is your rugged, hardy adventurer; he'll never fail you. And I still don't think of him as an Australian. There are other greats - Dastan, Indy, the original Bluecoats, the Rebel Commando, and many, many more, but I still think Johnny is the best. Quote
dark1san Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 I have a couple, I know most are saying just one or two. But I really do like these in particular. Storm Trooper, just like putting different heads under the helmet to give them more personality. Harley Quinn, only cause she's my second favorite Batman character next to Batman himself. New Boba Fett, only because it's the only Lego Boba I own.And the Zombie cm, I have an undying love for the undead. Quote
keep on bricking! Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 I really don't know who to pick out of my very feeble just over a hundred minfigs My shock trooper, as the red on that is beautiful and bright also I seem to love my bobba fett I should be getting in may :) Quote
RubeusHagrid Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Sentimentally, it would have to be the first yellow Harry Potter. But recently (sort of) It would be the ship captain that's my avatar because of the rare, detailed torso. Quote
benhead Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 I cant possibly only pick 1 favorite minifigure! There are about 50 that I really like but I`m not going to rattle them off, first cause I dont remember all of them and second it would take awhile. But if I were to pick a few favorites it would be the space theme from 1980 to 1996.I really liked the Blacktron 1 colors, not so much for Blacktron 2.Patiently waiting for word on Blacktron 3!The Ice planet mini`s had cool colors, transparent orange skiis and neat helmet visors. The Exo-force anime mini`s were awesome!I think they should have exaggerrated the mini`s bodies also, particularly the females.Liked the villians from space police 3. PhantomX Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 For me it would be- Hazmat guy from series 4, Elf from series 3 (he has ears!!!!),and a star wars snowtrooper Quote
MinifigFreak2010 Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 Does it have to be offical or can it be a custom? Offical, I am in love w/ the short legged minifigure boy from the 2010 advent. He is known as "Grinchly" in the Reasonably clever comic series. Oh, and I really love El Stud the mexican wretler also in RC comics. Custom wise, I'm in love w/ Doyle's crew of figures. I'm especially in love w/ donut, Whiskey, and Frobot Quote
Brickdoctor Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 Does it have to be offical or can it be a custom? In your opinion, what's the best minifigure ever produced? 'Produced' meaning made by TLG. Besides, it's kinda obvious we're talking about official minifigs. Quote
Scorpiox Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Probably the orc chieftain that came with the orc battle pack. Awesome shield, no-one can deny that the shield is cool Awesome shoulder armour, a great mould that is rarther rare Good Torso, but it is hidden by the armour Awesome head, gotta love those tusks Nice helmet, perfect for this fig I love him so much! sedna1000 Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 Forestmen. Simple, classic, and all the sets they came with have much playability. And the hats are some of the most iconic Lego pieces. Quote
DarthR2-D2 Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 (edited) It would have to be that guy right there: <------- (Commander Cody) Edited April 3, 2011 by DarthR2-D2 Quote
Mr_Malfoy Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 I say the best minifigure is Bellatrix Lestrange or the Kimono Girl. Such detail!!! Quote
brickmack Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Hmmm. Too hard of a question, but I can answer if I break it down by theme. Star Wars: Han Solo from the Endor Bunker set. LEGO did a great job capturing him for that. Pharaoh's Quest: No idea what it's called, but its the one that's supposed to be the half dog, half human thing. Pirates: The admiral from the new Imperial Flagship set. Atlantis: The squid people. Mostly I just like the leg design. Space: The Mars Mission humans. They had a lot of good detail, and it also had the pressure gauges and stuff (Though they should have had real air tanks) Quote
Artifex Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 (Sorry in advance.) I'm afraid I'll be the megablocks of this thread, but here it goes: We should really have pics or almost every description is lost. Pics or the minifig never "happened". (Sory again) Quote
Lego_Hero Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 (Sorry in advance.) I'm afraid I'll be the megablocks of this thread, but here it goes: We should really have pics or almost every description is lost. Pics or the minifig never "happened". (Sory again) Atrifex, First, is that Ozzy photoshopped as Zartan? Second, wonderful idea! Some of the minifigs mentioned, I'm not sure what they look like from memory. Still, we could always get off our rears and look them up. And C, being a minifig fan, picking one is almost impossible. I'd say Nightwing, many of the Insectoids, and a few of the Collectible Minifigs make the top of my list. Has anyone ever done a tournament-style survey where minifigs are pitted against each other with members voting each time until there is only one left? I'm not volunteering, but that would settle it. 50missioncap Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 I think the cowboy from series 1 is totally underrated. He's a great fig. Quote
