Meijers Clone Battle Packs $5.00

So I stop at my local Meijer store a few weeks ago and I find (3) opened boxes

of Series 3 by the Christmas Stocking Stuffers display area. I manage to get

7 Elfs, a few baseball players and a few Fishermans. I notice they have small

sign saying Clone Walker Battle packs on sale at $9.00 a box till the end of

the month. So i'm thinking that thats a good price and maybe I'll pick some up

later.

Well a couple of days ago, there store flyer in the paper has a coupon for 10%

off of purchases over fifty dollars. So I stop by and theres no more series 3

but I do pick up (10) battle packs thinking there only gonna cost $8.10 a piece

after the discount. Well Imagine my surprise when they ring up @ $5.00 a box

(thats $4.50 each) after the discount. So I have the cashier hold on to my purchase

and I go back and grab the last (12) that they had. I had a store clerk look

in back but he couldn't find anymore.

Well today I stopped again and couldn't find any Series 3 and the sign for the

battle packs were gone. So I walked over to the lego section and find (8) more

Clone packs mixed in with the newer packs (which are on sale for $10.77) and

i also find (4) Droid packs. So I find a scanner and both are scanning at $5.00!

So as I'm leaving with my find I find another row of toys in an obscure aisle (were there summer

cook out stuff is usually kept) and lo and behold, (4) opened boxes of series

3! So I wound up snagging quite of bit of Elfs, Fishermans and Baseball players

So if your near a Meijers, check the prices on those Battle Packs and hopefully you'll find some $1.99 Series 3 packs too.

Yes, the Assasin Droid BP were ringing up at $5.00 also (I actually stated that both scanned at %5.00 in my post). Talking with other members on bricklink, they were actually on clearance. Lego Shop at Home is actually sold out as of now. And I'm not actually an army builder, I'm more into city. Check out my 'City in progress video on Youtube.
