DLuders Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 On YouTube, Eric Emmett (axoholic1) posted two videos of his completed Lego DeLorean Time Machine (from the "Back to the Future" movies). On Facebook, he's trying to petition TLG to make this an official set. He wrote, "This Lego model is a 1/10 scale size (17"x6 1/2") very detailed, LEDs installed to illuminate, R/C, and also can be converted to a stock DeLorean without the Time Machine parts!" I believe that he used many multi-color Brick Lights to illuminate his Time Machine. : : Quote
Maegnus Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Colour me impressed! I'm a MASSIVE BTTF fan, and this is definitely up to snuff for me. You spent a lot of time getting all the components right, and the end result is highly accurate. The time circuits and headlights are my favourite elements. Now you just need to get those flux bands to glow blue ;) Quote
Big Cam Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 that is quite simply the coolest thing that has been built out of LEGO in a long time. I am in love. Quote
907DocBlock Posted September 14, 2011 Posted September 14, 2011 Hey everyone! I'm the creator to that Lego Model u guys are drooling over, lol Anywayz, I'm glad that you folks enjoy the work and pride that has been put into this such creation, rest assure that the model still sits on my shelf, over time i have done a few minor upgrades to it, I do plan on installing L.E.D strings for the flux bands, i have done some research and able to get some, but i have to plan things out to make things easier for me without consequences Like the saying goes "If you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything!" You're friend in time, Doc Emmett L. Block Quote
DLuders Posted September 14, 2011 Author Posted September 14, 2011 @ 907DocBlock: Welcome to Eurobricks! I like your DeLorean, and agree that LEDs help set it apart from other cars. Quote
Jim Posted September 14, 2011 Posted September 14, 2011 Not being a real fan of studded Lego, I do absolutely love your model!! The electric wiring is awesome!! Very well done! Quote
Lasse D Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 Drooling over? Good grief. Builder was probably replying to the posts above his. What do you think? It is quite non-LEGO- and stud-full, but if you think of a limited parts selection and with focus on the LED-lighting, then this is a fantastic custom creation. Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 Heaven's sake someone give Dluders a napkin. Quote
