The new year is a time for celebrating and thinking what the new year will bring us, oh and don't forget about making a new years resolution.

But what is it, maybe it's spending more time with your family and friends or just trying to be more organised.

So why not share your new year resolutions here default_classic.gif

Oh and don't forget to have a nice Christmas and a happy new year.

We think alike.

Hmm, my new year's resolutions would be:

To spend more time Mocing.

Puting more time into making cloth accessories for my figs.

And trying to get better at taking Lego pics so I can contribute in the SW picture topic. :sweet:

Also spending more time with my dog.

Merry Christmas to you The Red Brick!

CF

Actually, I don't really do new year resolutions. Just looking forward to the Marzipan pigs!

or just trying to be more organised.
That's one of my resolutions every year but somehow I never manage to fulfill it

Right now the only resolutions I can think of are being more active on facebook, as that's what so many people do and I need to catch up :classic:

And on this forum I'll try to be more active, and also more active in other forums (previously I was almost just active in the pirates forum).

I'm going to try to incorporate more color in my creations (it seems everybody is sick of black) and to improve my sculpting skills with klay. :classic:

Interesting topic, I sure have lots of Lego-related 'resolutions' that I plan to do in the coming new year.

1.) First, buy a decent camera. I think I've committed one of the gravest crimes of MOCing - not having my own camera. I've been doing all of these MOCs and presenting them here in EB just by borrowing my brother's camera.

2.) As a consequence of Resoution #1, start my student reviews in the Reviewer's Academy. I've been enrolled in RA for several months now but haven't made my first review yet.

3.) Diversify my MOCs. Majority of my MOCs have been obviously Star Wars, but I've been planning to do some non-SW MOCs which I will hopefully make this 2011. I'm planning to do my Buhay Pinoy/The Filipino Life Series intended to promote the Filipino culture in this global forum.

4.) With regards to minifig customization, minimize the use of sharpie, explore more in clay sculpting, and to finally learn and use water-slide decals in my minifig customs.

Those are the ones of the top of my head right now. But generally, I'll just try to continue becoming a positive contributor in our online community. :classic:

Drink less alcohol, read more, exercise daily.

Horrible idea

Good idea

Great idea.

I want to loose 20-30 pounds this year, most of it is just a gut from years of beer, but I don't exercise at all so I think by starting to exercise and cutting back on soda it should be easily attainable

Hm. I tried working out hard, but I think I tore something in my knee (going to the doctor Monday to check that out)...

I really want to lose some weight. I've been exercising and eating right, but I just haven't lost much, only about 5 pounds of fat. I've actually gained 8 in muscle, so I guess it's okay.

Another resolution would be to write more. I really enjoy writing, and I may pursue a career in it. I've written pieces of poetry, which I was very satisfied with. I also had an idea for a book, but I didn't really act on it.

I'd also like to finish the Reviewer's Academy this year. I'm close (on my gold level run!), but it's going to be a lot of hard work to finish.

No, I don't.

I really, really should though.

I have two of them. They are very serious resolutions.

The first is to stop eating so much junk food. I'm spending like $200-$225 a month on something that can only hurt my body.

My second resolution is to start saving almost all of my entire paycheck so that I can get a car.

I guess I have a few. I've devoted more time to MOCing and building and I still want to find even more time. I need to sort things as soon as I buy them, otherwise I tend to forget what I have. And I want to do more cleaning here on EB in the coming year. Worthless posts, worthless posters, crap that doesn't belong, ITGs; time to start cleaning house!

Well that's me gone! Nice knowing you all! haha.

Hey, it's before the new year!

Anyway, my two new years resolutions are to spend more time MOCing and start to sort my LEGO!

My resolutions are to become ambidextrous and learn Russian.

To graciously welcome our new alien overlord Quer'n---I mean to wear more coats heh heh heh <_< >_> <_<

Find more time to spend with my bricks. :)

Do more MOCing

Diversify my building categories more (I mostly do scifi but I'm planning to do at least some castle and pirates stuff)

Learn Vulcan

Sort my stuff

I probably will forget to sort but the other 3 I will do

My New Year's Resolution? 1080i.

BA-DUM TISH!!

My New Year's Resolution? 1080i.

BA-DUM TISH!!

oh... :sadnew: that's bad.

Um I dont have one really. But if I was going to have one it would be to buy some loose lego and start honing my mocing skills. I know how to do SNOT and use pieces to build a solid MOC but I need to start getting the reserves to actually build something of my imagination.

I have a couple of resolutions.

- Begin writing stories frequently ( there should really be a new section of the forum dedicated to writing made)

- Complete sorting my bricks

- Find a way to print Lego pieces

My New Year resolutions:

1. Finish Mapping out Hogwarts.

2. Write more short stories in general.

3. Write one long (50,000-100,000) story.

4. Sort out my lego and other items into a nice organised fashion.

5. Build a 5* model out of lego.

These are things that I have wanted to do for a while along with many more things but these are the ones that I think I can complete and really want to do.
