sverre Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 OMG! My dream model! And even in orange! I´m in love :) Quote
Dutch_EE Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 (edited) Althoguh I cannot figure out waht they mean with the pictograms on "Foto32" on the right hand side. It looks like this model has PTO and PTO-lines front and back PTO -> Power TakeOf PTO -> Pneumatic TakeOf In the original model it looks like the Power TakeOf is used for the winch. In the 'B-Model' it looks like the Pneumatic TakeOf is used for the plough. EDIT : I know the last fact, because on foto21 it says : Power up the compressor and redirect the air pressure to the snowplough in front I think that the crane-part in the A-model just clips on the back Pneumatic TakeOf. This would mean that, with some extra parts we could have both a snowplough and a crane Edited February 7, 2011 by Dutch_EE Quote
davidmull Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Very nice to finally see pics, any pics of the flatbed or xtream cruiser yet? Quote

Plastic Nurak Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 I bet this set will enter in Lego Technic 10 best sets ever. It has some amazing function and it looks great . Quote
grohl Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Now I understand the price of it. So many panels (I would love to have the grey ones now for my next MOC) Big shock absorbers Orange colour New tyres Small pneumatic cylinder Pneumatics in general Many functions With 8043 this is going to be the best flagship since I returned to LEGO. Good job on that TLG Quote
Pauger Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Do I spot 11-long axles at the sides of the roof? Quote
Anio Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Do I spot 11-long axles at the sides of the roof? No. It's 9L. Quote
hga09 Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Looks like the small pneumatic cylinder is making a comeback (in the claw part of the crane). Yay! Quote

tomacwhite Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Looks awesome! I wonder if the turntable for the crane will be motorised? Quote
Anio Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Using one topic for the 8110 would make things easier to read everything about the model, wouldn't it ? Quote
BrickWild Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 Any better pics of the flatbed & 'cherry picker'? Quote
efferman Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 (edited) ui, this Daf looks great Thanks for the picture Edited February 8, 2011 by efferman Quote
Matt The Tuba Guy Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 (edited) The unimog looks good, especially the pneumatics. interesting that there is a pneumatic pipe coming from the pump to the front for the snow plough. my immediate thought was that the red and yellow truck looks similar to the alt model for the 2009 yellow truck, but after looking at it, it isn't too similar. looks good.
