WesternOutlaw Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 So nothing was created yet so I thought I'd start one so everybody can list what the scored for Christmas! ... How did everyone else go? I don't think this topic is specific enough to be in the Train Tech Forum as a few might respond with other non-related train items. I see there's a similar topic in the General Forum called, Your Lego Christmas Haul Thread - What'd ya Get!? that may be more fitting. I've merged this topic with it. Quote
dr_spock Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 Bad year. No Lego this Christmas. Maybe I can score something on Boxing Day. Quote
Legoman Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 Bad year. No Lego this Christmas. Maybe I can score something on Boxing Day. Same here. I very rarely get lego for Christmas. My parents don't like spending much on Presents and wouldn't want to spend enough to get me anything decent - if they even knew what to get. It's alright though, I did get some good scores today (boxing day) Instead, For Christmas, I simply got some Snorkling gear - Which I'm stoked about Quote
AndyC Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 I got Luke Skywalker's Landspeeder from my brother, as he's the only one who doesn't think it's daft buying a grown man kids toys. I, however, have rectified this lack of Lego with a trip to S@H, so there will be plenty of building fun for the new year. Little bit naughty of me, since I still haven't put Tower Bridge together yet, but sometimes you have to treat yourself and a few of the new sets (especially Diagon Alley) were far too tempting to ignore. Quote
Oky Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 After a few Lego-less Xmases, I finally got some Lego this year! I got the Pharaoh's Quest sets Flying Mummy Attack and Cursed Cobra Statue from my parents, and the Atlantis 2011 sets Seabed strider and Angler Attack from my sister! Unfortunately I didn't get the the Hogwarts I was hoping for, but instead I got Playstation Move and a new Wacom tablet. Besides, there's always my birthday. Happy Holidays everyone! Quote
Daedalus304 Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 I got the 10215 Obi-Wan's Jedi Starfighter, which I am still pretty excited over. I absolutely love it. Planning on putting one of my giftcards towards the ARC-170 set as well, that's a pretty slick ship there. Quote
Lordofdragonss Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 (edited) Nice christmas you had boys and girls... I get ZERO Lego sets this year, but I got some money instead, so tommorow Im going to shop to buy IMO the best set of this year: Edited December 26, 2010 by Lordofdragonss Quote
Admiral Ron Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 I did pretty good this year: Corporate Alliance Droid Rebel Battle Pack Wampa Ice Cave Fire Truck Police Motorcycle Police Minifigure Collection Flying Mummy Attack Golden Staff Guardians Quote
Henchmen4Hire Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 (edited) I haven't bought LEGOs in years, but Space Police drew me in, and of course they're now discontinued and gone like everything else I love... Got Hyperspeed Pursuit, Lunar Limo, Squidman Escape, and Freeze Ray Frenzy (all minifigs included) for like half the price total thanks to some generous ebay sellers. Also got a ton of collectible minifigs recently in trade for one of my custom action figures. Also finally built a Battle Van for my Punisher and will order pieces for Lobo's space bike soon.
