VenVoi Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 I picked up two presents for myself yesterday at Wal-Mart's end of the year clearance: -Space Police Lunar Limo(was $40, got it for $16!) -the TRiO Batcave(was $35, got it for $17!) I love clearance sales. Quote
Siscoth Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 I got Tantive IV and money for the imperial shuttle or the republic dropship. Only thing is that I really can't decided! :) Quote
Eskallon Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 All I got this year was Hero Factory set 7179 from my cousin, I hate the theme so I gave the set away. My parents have recently been trying to pursuade me out of Lego, thinking me much too old for it so I kinda gave in in the end and now just don't tell them about it. This causes a problem though as I desperatly want to get the following soon before the next wave of HP sets come out and these go: 1. Hogwarts Castle 2. Freeing Dobby 3. Quidditch Match 4. Diagon Alley Quote
-JD- Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Lots of food, clothes, and money, as well as: Clone Turbo Tank Fight for the Dagger Public Works Not much LEGO, but ah well. Quote
Sandy Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 From my fiancé I got the Hogwarts Express set (yay, Luna Lovegood!) and the Pirate Code LEGO boardgame (yay, dozens of jewels!), and with the money I got from my future mother-in-law I bought the new Atlantis Temple (yay, pillar pieces and sea critters!). So all in all, a very nice haul for me. Quote

MAH4546 Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 I took advantage of the sales. Here's what I bought myself, all at 50% off! Online: 5636 - Duplo Bus 7486 - Pig Farm & Tractor 8403 - City House 8258 - Crane Truck LEGO Store in Miami: 7206 - Fire Helicopter 8052 - Container Truck 8214 - Lamborghini Polizia 8402 - Sports Car LEGO Store in Los Angeles: 7636 - Combine Harvester 7747 - Wind Turbine Transport I think the Miami store knocked down a bunch of Technic and Racers sets that were not supposed to be marked down. Inconspicuous Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 The only set I got this year was the Hogwarts Castle, which I just built today. It's a gorgeous set and I'm so happy I got it. Since we spent Christmas in Costa Rica, our family gift-giving was sized down so I didn't really expect to get much Lego. Quote
Eric J. Olson Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 It's great when you're in your 30's and your parents still get you LEGO. :) My received: 10216: Winter Village Bakery 10199: Winter Toy Shop Quote

wtfbbq Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 I got my wife the Green Grocer. My mother in law got us the Fire Brigade and the Grand Emporium. We already had the Fire Brigade, so we exchanged it at the Lego Store towards a Tower Bridge and an Emerald Night. Win! Quote
CMP Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 My smallest Lego Christmas in years. Can't blame my parents, they got me an Xbox. But they did pick up a rather nice Creator snowman (no clue where they could have picked it up), which is watching me at this very moment. No, there's no hidden message at the post. And no, he didn't make me type that. Move along. Quote
Cad Bane Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 I got a decent year of Legos for Chanukah (though I purchased some with a little aid of my own money): -Cad Bane's Speeder -Luke's Landspeeder -Venator-class Republic Attack Cruiser (currently shipping. Can't Wait!) All in all, I've had better years but this year was pretty good! Welcome to 2011, a whole new year and a whole lot more Legos! Quote
