WhiteFang Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 This is a very sad and terrible game for me... Not wanting to blame anyone for this, but seriously I had the worst luck ever. Below is the information of my part and I still enjoy being the Fedelini mob boss, despite of my terrible ordeal. Mr. Frank White (Restaurant Owner) (Whitefang)Though you pretend to be only the humble owner of the fabulous restaurant, Salty Seafood, you are in fact also the Godfather of the Fedelini family, using a false name here, of course. Your entire family has been killed in recent mob wars and police actions, and you are recruiting. You have also heard reports of a man tracking you down for killing his family. You know the identity of the two assassins who you used (Erwin Long and Ian Deed) and will be given the choice to sell them out if your hunter finds you. Also, know that you are the only one who is aware of all the members of your family. It is up to you to decide if you want to tell your new converted members who their allies are. Alliance -Fedelini Family Actions and Abilities: - You have a bullet proof jacket on at all times. You cannot be killed during the night, except by the man whose family you killed. If Stash dies you lose your jacket, as he is the provider. -You are trying to convert people in the town to your cause. On Night 1 you will convert your killer, and night 3 you will convert your investigator. After that you will convert another member every odd night, which will retain any abilities and actions they already have. If you are stopped from converting you may do so the next night instead. You will not be able to convert members of the other families. -You will show up as townie to an investigator. The most annoying part of the game is everytime I wanting to convert someone day by day, I just keep failing... I failed to convert Draggy on Day 1. Then, I can't convert Rick on Day 2, because someone murdered him. Following on Day 3, I attempt to convert Jimbee and it fails. Then, finally on Day 4, before I am dead at the end of Day 5 or whatever, I fail to convert Walter Kovacs and after the damn accusations, I am finally dead without any hoods on my side. :hmpf: Enough of mine playful emotions, but overall it was an eyeopening experience for me but I played very terrible and at the end of Day 5, I just gave up without a fight. I try to convince a few but Walter aggressive strategy just had that edge over me. Good play, Walter Kovacs for nailing me down. Apologies to mine many fellow players, such as Shadows, Draggy, Rick, and others who have been forced to hear my rubbish story. Lastly, I will like to thanks Zepher for granting me a seat in this game of life.

I really did not have a whole lot to start with so I tried to stay quiet and not draw attention to myself. I survived to day 10 so I think my plan worked . Gen (Bum) (Genaro) You are a village bum. You are able to gather certain things. You know that the Mayor and the Police Chief cannot be killed at night due to their bullet proof vests, and you know that most couples in town would not be able to survive if one of them died. You are also aware that bullet proof vests are illegal, but you trust in your mayor and police chief enough to not report them. Alliance -Town. Actions and Abilities: -None. I hope I played my roll well. And on a side note, the vests WERE illegal so you can stop thinking that I am insane now.

I'm ashamed to say that the Noodles were laughing all the way through it. I failed to convert Draggy on Day 1. Can't be converted. Then, I can't convert Rick on Day 2, because someone murdered him. That was me. Following on Day 3, I attempt to convert Jimbee and it fails. I didn't know that! Too bad I was already converted and had foiled your previous plan to convert Rick. Then, finally on Day 4, before I am dead at the end of Day 5 or whatever, I fail to convert Walter Kovacs and after the damn accusations, I am finally dead without any hoods on my side. Again, because we got to him first. Geez, better luck next time!

You have a love for pets, and your wife Sandy Quest, though she has always had an air of mystery around her. You have a beer with your best friend, Rick Russian, every night you are both available. He has told you that he has taken on the job of protecting people each night, and has asked you, in the case anything happens to him, that you take over. Alliance -Town. Actions and Abilities: - If Rick dies, you may protect one person each night. I was caught off guard the night after Rick died so I rapidly pm'ed shadows asking for someone I could protect. I naturally thought the bikers were going to be targeted so I protected def. The rest were just guesses.

Stupid Draggy. He can't be converted. He could be the perfect cover...
Sandy Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 What the hell is "The Sandy Trap"? Haha, you were just a victim of the "lovers" role, meaning that when my character died, yours died automatically as well. I don't know if it would've worked the other way around, though.

Please confirm you got this in the thread: Benjamin Gershwin (Construction Worker) (Bendy Badger) You are a simple construction worker who is highly loyal to the town. Alliance -Town. Actions and Abilities: -None. This was my role and I was constantly suprised to see myself staying in there. I would love to know why I was targetted at the end.Fugazi did well to pick on me. Thought I played ok as the character in the background and was pleased to survive for so long. I was far too trusting though and will make sure I am a little more sceptical in my next game Thanks again for a great game.
CMP Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Congrats to all! I was the original night watch leader. I believe it ontained Walter Kovacs, Fugazi, Captain Becker, and Shadows. I had the ability to protect someone at night (if I remember correctly). I was converted by Sandy on night 1, and became the Ronzoni hitman. I made my mistake on night 2, when I attempted to kill Shadows. Dur. Apparently I forgot about his night watch abilities (seeing who targets you at night), and I failed to kill him. Epic fail. Good game. But at least I got everyone who wronged me to die in the afterlife by leaving behind my very presence.

You also didn't know I couldn't be killed at night. Once at least. I turned that into a game of bluff until Stash went suicidal and dragged me with him.

For that matter, why did he sell out Sandy so quickly? He could easily have gathered information for her, and then sold her out much later if things turned against her and her gang.

I found the whole Stash thing very intriguing myself. Stash was a nice informer, and lead us to many victories, but I'm still wondering why thigns went the way they did.

I did try every way to persuade him not to reveal us so soon, but he just ignored me. If I remember right, Shadows said something about Stash wanting to side with the good guys for a change. Well, a fat lot it did to him or the townies, since a Mafia-family won anyway.
Walter Kovacs Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Yeah, and it led to his death. Fugazi came to me during that day, saying that he had inherited the Vigilante role when Hewkii died. He was looking for targets, since Hewkii had been reluctant to accidentally kill townies. So I went to Arjay and suggested Fugazi would be a nice addition. Since Stash had placed my name on his list, I sublty hinted that he might need to go, even though he was a neutral. Then Arjay said he needed Stash alive for one more night, so that Arjay's vest would be active if he had to use JimButcher's bodyguard role in protecting Iamded (gets a bit convoluted here, doesn't it?). I tried to move Fugazi onto Alice, but he went and killed Stash anyway. Long story short, Stash was the only vicitm of the Town's Vigilante. Fugazi was converted the same night he killed Stash.
Peanuts Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 (edited) Well, it was surely an interesting experience to play my first mafia game, although I think, my role-playing wasn't very good I didn't have many leads, and I didn't talk much in private, so I think I wasn't a that great help to my party. I think I'll play better in def's game. The only thing I can say, is, that Iwas quite suspect of Roncanator from very early in the game, even before he was converted. But I had no evidence about that, but I planned to vote for him the next day, when I died. Without anything more to share, my role: Please confirm you got this in the thread. Mr. Percy Nutter You are an over-protective father to James and loving husband to Alice, who brings home the bacon, which you are okay with. Alliance -Town. Actions and Abilities: -None.
