Karlo Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 (edited) Hi, I'm new to the town section. I'm on eurobricks for some time but never posted on town section yet, did more pirate mocs Here is a link to the Flickr since I'm to lazy to put all the pictures on here (sooooory :D) i hope you will like it Edited December 27, 2010 by Karlo Quote
L@go Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 (edited) I'm to lazy to put all the pictures on here You really, really shouldn't be so lazy when you've got something so amazing to show off! I tend to lose interest when there isn't a single image in a post, and I almost missed this because of that. The attention to detail is great all over, and there are so many nice touches. I love the crocodile pool (so clever to leave just the top part of the head underneath the leaves like that), the cafe with the glass roof, the oriental-themed garden and the training facility where the Karate Kid lookalike is struggling under the supervision of his Mr. Miyagi... But my favourite part has to be the little dark blue fountain. Using an upside-down basketball net for that - that's creative! Well done, Karlo. I'll do you a favour by deeplinking to another of your pictures, so more people get the chance to see this! Note the basketball net in this pic: Edit: Swapped the picture for another, since Karlo edited his post to use the same link. Edited December 27, 2010 by L@go Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 Wow, this is simply an excellent creation Karlo! It was truly an enjoyable experience looking at every bit of fantastic detail in this "Zootanic" MOC. Lots of great details worth mentioning - the brickbuilt motorcycles, the stone Budhha in the botanical garden, the croc heads above the water, and of course my favorite, the white glass roofed resto. Impressive work on this masterpiece, my hats off to you Sir! Quote
Cecilie Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 This is really a stunning MOC, I love it . I especially like the japanese-inspired bits, as I'm a Japan fan, but the entire thing is awesome . Your attention to detail is impressive. Oh, and that glass-roofed restaurant is really nice. Btw, I agree with L@go, you shouldn't be so lazy with deeplinking pictures . Everyone can manage deeplinking at least a few pictures of their MOC to draw people in and make them want to see more in your photostream. Quote
Santhor Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 "Please do NOT feed the giant trolls, sir!" I love this, and all the details. The best part, IMHO, is the monkey habitat. -Santhor Quote
buddy Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 Excellent MOC! It is very realistic and highly detailed. I too particularly like the Japanese inspired parts. Extremely well done. ~buddy~ Quote
Karlo Posted December 27, 2010 Author Posted December 27, 2010 Yes that was the general joke about that troll :D also i did a medieval troll trane for fun :D sorry i don't have a better picture of it :( Quote
indyman09 Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 Wow, all I can say. The use of the stretchers in the Japanese garden are great. That's the part I like the most. You're statues in that part are magnificant! Great job Quote
lightningtiger Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Excellent creation 'Karlo', try a few more town MOC's - you are very good at them ! Keep up the cool work and I'm a conformist! ! Quote

tin7_creations Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 It's always been a dream of mine to create a LEGO zoo; but I've always wanted to wait until LEGO created more animals. I never thought to make a "Fantasy" section in the zoo. I'm still praying for Lions and Tigers! Quote
Karlo Posted January 3, 2011 Author Posted January 3, 2011 It suposed to have mora animals and it should have been a bit bigger with more animals but we had not time to do it because of our exibit coming up :) Quote
Klaus-Dieter Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 That's a completely amazing MOC, Karlo! I really it! It looks absolutely awesome with all those realistic details, the great architectual desgin and the calm and lovely atmosphere! The most I like the botanic garden - brilliant! If only TLG offered us a zoo or botanic garden as a regular theme or an Exclusive next year! Very, very well done! Klaus-Dieter Quote
Brickstarrunner Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Oh...my...gosh... I amend you, good sir, because aside from LEGOs, my other hobby is gardening, and, I must say...I am astonished. The only thing I wished was there was a full cactus garden. Quote
mautara Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 An excellent work. Every single part is a perfect standalone MOC full of nice details. And the motorcicles are very beautiful! Quote
