Hey guys,it's been a long time since I last posted here... Anyway:

Many of you (probably) know that after Bara Magna there was supposed to be a Valley of the Maze story, and after that there was supposed to be a Bota Magna story, jungle themed and all. After seeing the HF '11 summer pictures, I started wondering. How would it've been if Bionicle continued?

I think it would be a nice fan project. Maybe some cool MOCist with knowledge about Photoshop could make an entire "would-be series".

I'm not a fan of Bionicle. But I think if it was continued, there would be the environment of the Glatorian Arena, with some super soldiers made to destroy all the bad Glatorian. Finding the golden flame-sword would make you invinsible. There are 6 wise bionicles. All with there own powers and strengths. 3 of them misused the power, the golden flame-sword, and became bad. The ultimate fight begins, the world is in your hands!

Someting like that maybe?

You know, I really could do something like this in my spare time. Unfortunately, I'm working on something else right now, and plane to put images up with the next month.

Oops, that seriously wasn't what I wanted. Are there 6 primes? I first came up with 5, but then the war isn't fair. And a golden mask wasn't really original, so a flame-sword. I thought it was a pretty good story

By the way: not 3 primes became decepticons, right?

I thought it were a bit less than that.

Actually, depending on the continuity, there are either 7 or 13 Primes. I was just trying to get my point across.

Yeah, Transformers keep going. That 3th movie in June, Dark of the Moon. But if I look the Hero Factory I see something that's missing. I don't think Lego had to replace Bionicle, it was some sort of tradition.

I can make some nice MOCs, but I wouldn't be able to use PhotoShop or something to make boxes or new pieces, which would be important.

I think the real question is, would we have seen this whole new system of imbs and armor if Bionicle continued on? Would they have eventually switched to the new system and the idea arose? It's an interesting though, as obviously bionicle would use these pieces on things such as Toa and all, and hence we would have seen dfferent results than Hero factory.

Or would we? See, what if Bionicle WAS planned for more years in terms of toys. A "Jungle Planet" called Bota magna? That seems awfully similar to our 3.0 Hero Factory lineup. if nothing else, the concept of the animal villains and such. So maybe, those designs were already made back when they were thinking of the concept of Bota Magna(not the heros obviously, but maybe something similar)

Granted thats pure speculation. The actual sets and concepts of figures and environments are thought out in ahead though. lego had the design of the mata nui robot made all the way back since 2001 but just kept it secret util 2009. And so who knows what they had planned after the Stars. Was it things we never have seen? or was it the concepts of these hero factory sets? Who knows at this point in time.
