Mahjqa/ Mahj (Peer Kreuger) posted this

of a Lego Technic Stilzkin Indrik Arctic Vehicle. :cry_happy: He wrote, "The Stilzkin Indrik is made for tough terrain and low temperatures. It has a large contact surface, which prevents it from sinking into the snow. It offers great traction on almost any surface, and loads of torque to get out of tight spots."

"For all the people who can't watch the Youtube video. This version cuts short after 90 seconds (blame Flickr)."

He also posted images on his Flickr photostream.

Short reply but...

That is amazing, beautiful and a lot of other words

Yet another outstanding moc of the hardest to make kind.

The creator along with some others from this forum are a constant source of inspiration,

envy and hope that one day I might be able to something half as complex

I salute you and all those before and after

Ps didn't want to do name checks, all you guys and girls are awesome

Yours always Pinky o/

Mahjqa added this picture from his Flickr photostream:

"Stilzkin Indrik - Camera sled -- I didn't go for self-propelled camera vehicles this time. Still, in order to get some nice moving shots, trailers of any kind can be very useful.

The 24z gear with clutch allows the turntable that has the camera on it to turn, but keeps it in the right direction once it's there. Rubber bands, the easy way to fix cameras to other things. The front skids are 41671pb01 "Bionicle Bohrok Windscreen 4 x 5 x 7 (Color Streaked into Clear)" or 41671 "Bionicle Bohrok Windscreen 4 x 5 x 7 (Solid Color)."

This is an excellent creation! It looks very realistic and is highly detailed. I particularly like the colour choice too, it looks great in orange. The camera sled is a great idea.

The chassis of the Indrik, in digital form! Build your own! Amaze your friends! Smite your enemies! (Well, maybe don't do that last one.)

The LDD file was done with some help by the amazing and wonderful Zblj. This version is the least parts-intensive. Most PF components can be removed without too much trouble.

I like this MOC very much. The curvature, the multiple heavy-duty tracks, the Russian decals, and the use of an Exo-Force Code-tile as an identification panel (Is someone watching me?) all adds up to an epic MOC. It even leaves the Snow Groomer in the dust.
