January 1, 201114 yr Technique, technique, technique! It's like a lesson in an art form! Wonderfully done, and very well thought-out!
January 2, 201114 yr Slyowl, you are alive! Awesome creation and filled with amazing details as usual. You never fail to impress us and this is no exception. Love the ghost haunting.
January 2, 201114 yr Impressive work! I like the candles the most, but the whole vignette is truly amazing!
January 2, 201114 yr It's great to see another build from you SlyOwl. This is excellent from all angles.
January 3, 201114 yr Splendid diorama work. The detail and techniques are superb. But what I like the most are all the angles. -BMW
January 3, 201114 yr When I saw the first picture I thought that it was not LEGO but expensive model.
January 4, 201114 yr Excellent MOC! It is highly detailed. I too particularly like the way you have used flippers as roof tiles. Extremely well done. ~buddy~
January 5, 201114 yr this is pure art right here, the amount of detail is astounding! I love the snow, really love the snow. and the roof man that was so original. I only have one question, Do I want to know why you have that many Flippers laying around......?
January 5, 201114 yr Author Thanks again everyone Here's a photo of how the wall works, in case it wasn't clear enough: Do I want to know why you have that many Flippers laying around......? I bought them a couple of years back specifically for the roof technique - at around 2c each, it was one of the best $5 I've ever spent!
January 6, 201114 yr Incredible as always SlyOwl. I applaud your work. The detail you have put into this is breathtaking! Keep it up! CF
February 15, 201114 yr Wow SlyOwl What an incredible attention to details! everything From the paches of snow on the roof, til the black wick in the candle nothing in this scene is overlooked I'm totally gobsmacked! Happy Bricking BR Barberini Argh (an Aspiring Pirate)
February 16, 201114 yr How on earth did I conspire to miss this back in January?! It is brilliant, as usual. This is a higher class of building, where you, once again as usual, demonstrate how the most simple brick can be manipulated to create a wonderful effect, like that wall. The whole thing is a piece of art. (sorry if I've just reiterated everyone else's views ) This is classic MOC in my books. Just like Tortuga and Cheddar Gorge. They all are an inspiration to any builder.
