Hinckley Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Why is Dr. Blietzkrieg so bonered up to have us kill someone today anyway? He wants us killing eachother to cover up the walrus that was murdered? What the hell was a sea mammal doing in here anyway? I'm pretty sure that State Law would prohibit that. I wish I would've paid attention in Criminal Justice 101. All I listened to were the state marijuana laws. I didn't know the material I would've learned in college would be applicable to life! It says in the Bible "Hindsight is 20/20." Anyway, I wish we could vote for Doctor Bologna-breath. Its seems this whole situation arose from his poor-care-facility.
Ricecracker Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 I really don't see how making baseless accusations is helping us... Both the King and the Professor are the most suspicious to me. They seem very eager to accuse someone, anyone. The quiet ones also worry me... Die Dr. Blutziegel vil not be disappointed agein! My dear, relax. You wouldn't want to upset Dr. Dre. ...the Professor... Excuse me, I meant to say Mr. Pavlov.
Walter Kovacs Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Both the King and the Professor are the most suspicious to me. They seem very eager to accuse someone, anyone. The quiet ones also worry me... I beg to differ. I have yet to actually accuse anyone. I am just trying to stimulate some conversation, perhaps get someone to slip up. It's a heck of a lot better than sitting on our hands and waiting for the Sinisters to come in the night. I do have to admit, I let the King of Delusionland over there get under my skin a bit. It won't happen again.
KotZ Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Well, the King of Delaware has seen his faults. I have made some accusations, and are pretty much baseless. Running a kingdom is so much easier. Well, my friend has convinced me that I must stop. And I don't think I want blood on my hands, well at least one of an innocent. UNVOTE:Professor Diem/Walter Kovacs Uh, nurse, can you get me some new underwear? The patients are scaring me.
JimBee Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Well since we're not getting anywhere, and Bear is becoming drowsy, I will vote, based on my reasoning and deduction of the staff. Vote: Nurse Penny / yumiyoshi And that counts as two. Bear votes for her because we think that one of the staff is Sinister because the staff had access to most of the building, which was in the description of that walrus's killer. Must be staff, right? Bear will gladly take back my votes if someone has a good argument against my choice. By the way, I'm forced to vote either way because of the two votes already in place, neither from which I want to choose from.
RileyC Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Man that king is bouncing round that chipmunk I fed drugs. All these accusations are really going nowhere. That's why im going to back off on Big Cam and Unvote: Cameron "Big Cam" Oaktree. I dont want to make anyone angry or suspicious of me as we have a long road ahead of us before this is all over. I just hope you do the same BC, I would hate it if you forgot to because I think you would be in a world of hurt tomorrow.

I feel like you pulled that name from a hat
JimBee Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 May I ask what your basis for voting is? I feel like you pulled that name from a hat Maybe you should remember about a page's worth of conversation (if it were to be written) back. I listed deductions on almost half of the roster. ...or maybe actually listen to what I have to say. I relisted my reasons when I cast my vote.
def Posted January 4, 2011 Author Posted January 4, 2011 Lynch Vote Tally Nurse Penny/Yumiyoshi 2 (Jim Butcher-Cornelius Murdock) Cookie Custer/Roncanator 1 (Big Cam) Proxy votes: Chief Washing Bear/Jim Butcher 1 (Cornelius Murdock)

Sorry chief, you put a lot of names out and I only seemed to remember a few, but I don't feel as though nurse penny is sinister, just a feeling though with no real basis of fact, I feel there are a handful of people not putting any input in who could be more likely to be sinister. Just a feeling though.
JimBee Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Okay, Bear has waited for more people to speak up, and is now going to unvote, because I am going to bed now, as prescribed. My attempt to provoke the crowd into coming to a decision has failed. It looks like Cookie will have to face the consequences if Cam does not unvote. There's nothing I can do about that, sorry. Unvote: Nurse Penny/ YumiYoshi And, Bear doesn't want to be held responsible for voting the wrong person when no one else has discussed it, especially with another's vote.
Dragonator Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 We're going in circles at the moment, the roman guy would probably say we've had a few skirmishes, but we still don't have anything final. Our PR has made his vote, which with the proxy means that dear nurse Penny will be gone soon, unless we decide on someone else. Several people have voiced suspicions against the King, is anyone planning to act on that? Personally I don't really get the feeling the nurse is sinister, but I guess it is possible. We need to make a decision soon people, whatever the case. Myself, I don't yet feel that I can in good conscious place a vote, however if we can come up with something soon I'd probably support it. We've had a few names thrown around today, and I think it is definitely worth keeping note of who hasn't said much so far. If people don't say anything, we can't really get a good opinion of them, can we? I dislike silence, almost as much as I dislike addictions. And I'm no addict, so there you go.
RileyC Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 I agree with Ricardo, we are definitely just going round in circles. I feel the Kings activity is most suspicious of all of us and should we try and get more out of him? Just suggestions Im floating out there

I feel the Kings activity is most suspicious of all of us and should we try and get more out of him? Just suggestions Im floating out there Maybe. But, it's possible he's just inexperienced confused and disoriented from his meds. If his tactic is to spread confusion, he's being overly obvious about it. If he is Sinister, he's not very adept at hiding it. A bigger concern are those lurking in the Shadows and flying under the radar. I admit to feeling the most supsicious towards the King of Delaware and Chief Washing Bear. It is most disturbing to me that Stanley would proxy a vote to somebody just as a test of trust... That's a huge test with enormous stakes! Suspicious indeed.

It is most disturbing to me that Stanley would proxy a vote to somebody just as a test of trust... That's a huge test with enormous stakes! Suspicious indeed. First off, I don't think the risk that comes from proxying is as great as you seem to think it is. I can always take it back if I feel it is being misused. Meanwhile all of us got to see what Bear did with that extra modicum of responsibility. I think he used it wisely in an effort to spark conversation and to test the reactions of others. Thus I will leave my proxy with him for now. If you have any bright ideas or suggestions, Dougie, I will gladly listen to them.

CorneliusMurdock Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 No, by all means, proceed. You seem to have it all figured out. You must be the smartest one amongst all of us. Well, I did make it to the moon all by myself. Oh, and I rescued the MoonMonarch's daughter from Space Pirates using only a flashlight and a mirror. I'll have to regale you with that story some other time though. By the way, your sarcasm is noted but ignored. I have nothing against you, Dougie. I respect your decisions and I only ask you not to deride mine because you don't agree with them.
Admiral Ron Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Bickering and sarcastic remarks arent going to help anything. It will make things worse. We cannot afford to have separate factions amongst the townies. We must stand united, or the Sinister will just sit by and watch us convict each other.

Shadows Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 I didn't think I was being quiet, I just don't have a lot of time for chitchat right now. I'm a very important person, you know. People from around the world come to me, looking for advice, asking me to solve their problems. It's a lot of responsibility. Plus I misplaced my puppy and that has me distracted. Have you seen my puppy? He's very friendly and answers to the name of Ffffnnnt-twarn Mestfnik. As for Shadows, he's in my ward. In the time I've known him, he's never been exactly "quiet". Perhaps the staff have recently upped his meds? Is that why the ceiling keeps sliding off the building? What's a townie? Those nice people who come to see us from town? The ones that aren't witches, at least. No, by all means, proceed. You seem to have it all figured out. You must be the smartest one amongst all of us. I thought you had the smartyness. And a pogo stick.
Admiral Ron Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 What's a townie? I'll tell you when you're older
WhiteFang Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 We are just going around in circles. It is either we take a shot in the dark which we all agree that the person could be most sinister or we could just laid back and see what night will brings us. The squabbling is making my head swell. However, I could feel that in order for us to move forward and gain more clues as suggested by the Doctor, we need to convict someone. I am not ready to convict someone yet. Everyone is just so looney. I will rather we talk to add value into our discussion instead of talking for the sake of talking. It will only make our head swell even more.
Rick Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Bear is offended that you think I would be that stupid as a Sinister. Like Jesus said, they're probably laughing at us bicker, glad the spotlight is on someone else. I'm not saying that they all voted for you or Biggy, but it surprises me that you don't seem suspicious at all about another patient that got a bandwagon of votes seemingly out of nowhere. How about we vote for someone likely to be scum, who's not spoken up? Sure that may be true, but a staff member could easily clear themselves in your book by speaking up . The same goes for the quiet patients, sure there are probably Sinister hiding among the quiet ones, but it's quite easy to be off the hook by bantering about a bit then, huh? This has already been explained. The King and Bear are good childhood friends, and know of each other's innocence. And just how do you know of each others innocence, if I may be so blunt? We're going in circles at the moment Agreed, listening back the tape recordings of the past hours, I see a lot of voting and unvoting, but unfortunately no consensus forming and at this point I'm as clueless as you are. I didn't think I was being quiet, I just don't have a lot of time for chitchat right now. Your advice is wanted in the matter of the Sinister Insane. It's not exactly chitchat your Greatness. Is that why the ceiling keeps sliding off the building? No, that's just Dr. Blutziegel moving you from one side of the ward to the other. I will rather we talk to add value into our discussion instead of talking for the sake of talking. It will only make our head swell even more. Give it a shot Ted. Add some value. So far the only thing we have to go on - besides endless talking, which essentially got us nowhere - is the PR vote. Maybe the Sinister ignored to whole vote and spread their votes to avoid detection. Maybe the role isn't all that important to them. In that case we're left completely in the dark as the PR vote will tell us nothing either. But truth is, we know very little about what the role is all about, besides being allowed some 'minor' wandering around at night (and having the deciding vote, which certainly would be valuable to the Sinister). Since the PR is our staff liaison, I have a question to all staff: do you actually know what the role is about? And would you care to share this? Or at least share if you consider it likely that the Sinister would aim for having a liaison elected?

yumiyoshi Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Vote: Nurse Penny / yumiyoshi Unvote: Nurse Penny I heard a strange sound, and it was my heart. Oh, the betray! One of my residents did this to me. This is something I ........................................., I remember........ Why playing with me? Was it due to my eye? to my wheels? to my tentativ to keep things and souls and minds quiet? Oh, Washing Bear... Using me as provocation wasn't kind. I'll try to forgive you. But I'll remember your name.
