Posted January 5, 201114 yr Hello everyone! I'm looking to see if anyone has found copies of the made for TV movie "Ewoks the battle for Endor" If your not familiar with the name, it was released in 1985 and took place in the star wars universe. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ewoks:_The_Battle_for_Endor I remember having a copy of it on VHS as a kid and watching it nearly every chance i got. Now I'd like to experience that again with my family. Considering how much this forum is into star wars i figured if anyone could help it would be you guys. Thanks for the help.
January 5, 201114 yr There are some auctions on ebay if you want to have a look at them. But I dont have a copy of it and Ive never seen it but Ive always wanted to. Does anyone know if its any good?
January 5, 201114 yr Have you checked Amazon? There are several people who have copies of it. I, however, don't. I saw bits and pieces of it on TV once and it seemed very cheesy and lame and not very starwarsy, so I never really watched it.

Ya, i had seen those, but have had very bad luck buying used DVD's from Amazon, and have a very hard time paying $100 for any single DVD. Hoping that there might be some sites out there that are a bit cheaper. Ive never seen it but Ive always wanted to. Does anyone know if its any good? I liked it. You have to remeber the time it was released and it was a made for TV movie in the 80's. So don't expect any acadamey award winning acting. But i think the story was cute. Becides, how can you not like a story about ewoks?? Edited January 5, 201114 yr by 5150 Lego
January 5, 201114 yr Here.A copy for $25 Whew. took some time to find one. I'm so glad I bought a copy about five years back. It was cheaper then. The ebay and amazon prices really surprised me. In answer to the other question, yes, it's a good movie. The effects and acting can be cheesy at times but overall it's fun. It is much better if you grew up with it though. My wife wasn't all that thrilled with it.

January 5, 201114 yr No problem. When I first read the post I thought "surely it can't be that expensive" and then I started looking. Then it became like a quest to find one decently priced. I hope your family enjoys it. I know I plan on introducing it to my daughter when she gets a little older. It's one of those things that I think is best appreciated as a kid. Although, I did have some fun in college introducing it to some of my friends. You just have to laugh at the cheesy parts.
