hewkii9 Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 (edited) I have been messing around with Legos and see that http://www.rsclegacy.com/thread.php?id=1163 has some landscapes that they mess around with too. Edited May 20, 2017 by hewkii9 Quote
JoshW Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 The cliff is well done. One question though...if the Viking is landing in a new world, who built the dock? Just a thought... Josh Quote
hewkii9 Posted May 28, 2006 Author Posted May 28, 2006 I don't know, Chinese explorers? Monks? Columbus? [there are theories about the first two landing on America even before Vikings]. Well, I've decided that the place is what now is Newfoundland. Thanks about the cliff, I have fun building them. Quote
Norro Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 Very Nice! Without the torch this could be a microfig MOC (with a giant viking in some shots X-D ). It is good to see another practicer of the noble art of scenery building... God Bless, Nathan Quote
Dreamweb Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 Very Nice! Without the torch this could be a microfig MOC (with a giant viking in some shots X-D ). My thought exactly - at first glance it looked like a microscale landscape to me. Looks pretty nice, would be even OK as an official set (Western had similar sets I think). Quote
eNiGMa Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 at first glance it looked like a microscale landscape to me. Same here. I really like it! I would only suggest replacing the black cones with something else to look a little more natural, but that's just me. It still looks really good with them, though. Will we be seeing more from you soon? Quote
Jipay Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 Just had the same feeling about microscale building ! You are doing microscale mocs without even noticing it :-D You should try to build some on purpose now ! Quote
hewkii9 Posted May 29, 2006 Author Posted May 29, 2006 Really? Thanks. I've embarked on a little project of my own: building scenes from the computer game Runescape- a medieval sort of game- in vignettes and scenes. I have the first one ready to be posted, and just brainstirming ideas for further ones. Quote

Norro Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 the LEGO western theme was always minifig scale ??? I can't remember lego ever doing a microscale product pre Lefo factory (force into it by MB's micro bricks...) God Bless, Nathan Quote
