Drop a badge? Don't be silly, I don't have any badges. :hmpf:

No, my good friend Dolores visited and we had a nice talk, and a few drinks. It was just good to have a night relaxing and having fun, after all this tension and worrying the past, well, what seems like forever. But, err, I shan't let my professionalism slip like that again. A night like that leaves me shattered in the morning. Gotta get your 8 hours sleep!

Anywhom, we were kept up all night, so I can vouch that she didn't leave and place the badge there.

And not to worry, Patrick, we only talked.

Wait, what? What did the two of you talk about all night? Care to elaborate on how good of a friend she is?

By the way, this is supposed to be a time when you're throwing out random accusations, just like in the Real Red Scare. Don't be afraid to place a random vote or anything, because if you don't vote for anyone, then I'll have to either go into Sudden Death Mode or throw red herrings out until you do.

Oh... our bad.

I say we start with the Jeffersons. Why? 'Cause your suspicious and I hate sudden death! vote: Stevie Jefferson Long live capitalism!

vote: Stevie Jefferson

Wait- what? Surely there's a different random choice!

Since we seemingly have to vote, I'll vote: Ted but this may or may not be subject to change.

We talked about things good friends talk about. This rock and roll music, Pop Art, other 50's things...

Oh, I'm sure you did.

Of course we did. How old are you anyway? Go to your room.

Everyone run! He's a commy, kill him! I 'ought to nuke you. If not you then who, you guys were obviously targeted for some reason? You're just voting for me because if one person has a vote, everyone else has to also, you socialist pig pushing your agenda to kill us all!

Stevie is not a commie, I know this for a fact, but I am rather suspicious of Officer Harrison. Who just misplaces a badge? and who would send a package to the USSR?

Officer Harrison, are you now, or have you ever been a member of the Communist Party?

Vote: Officer Harrison

Oh yeah? At least I'm not the captain that blundered his crew into a war zone, or who's first target is a kid who hasn't even finished school! I mean, anyone who could target people's wives could probably target their kids too, huh? Well it would seem this has turned from a game of target that last person who spoke to full blown craziness.

Mind if we ask what you were talking about, Councilman?

Whoa whoa whoa, slow down there kid. You're no investigator. You're a kid. I trust Officer Harrison, and it's clear he's been framed. What if I stole your schoolbag and put it on the commie's body? That doesn't make you a commie.

Of course, we are being hypothetical here. You could still be a commie.

That would make you a thief

but that is true, so for now

Unvote: Officer Harrison

but my question still stands

I'm not commy because I came here with my company and shipping to make a profit! That wouldn't work well in a command economy would it?

Oh, I'm sure you did.

You may be my step-son, but I'm not afraid to wash your mouth out with soap!

I never said that. But now that I think of it, you could easily have snuck some weapons or something on board your precious boat.

I say you're a crackpot for voting out my son. A mysterious outsider walks into our town and points the finger at my family.

Vote: Ted

As my dear husband seems to be a little under the weather this morning, would it be fair to cast a vote for him? I'm sure he would be equally appalled that his son is being blindly targeted.

I'm more trusting of the long standing members of this town, than anyone who arrived this week.

Ted? Why are you pointing out kids and accusing them!? They're our children for God's sakes! Why try to destroy our families? If Valerie were still here, she'd be just as appa-

Realizes that he just spoke of Valerie, his murdered wife. Chokes up.

*sob* Vote: Ted *sob*

*Shakes head to clear it.*

No stranger's just gonna barge into My town and start breaking up families!

*Goes and sits down for a minute, hoping someone will come and sit with him.*

I say you watch the way you talk to the captain! He is not a cracked pot! Why would you even call someone a cracked pot? Strange...

It seems to me that some of the long standing members are not on-board since the commie problem started before we showed up!

Vote: Stevie Jefferson, I have to stand by my captain and, frankly, I don't have a better idea.

Wow. That's... the nicest thing you've done. Can I have some apple pie now? I'm hungy.

I don't think that we should be voting an innocent kid. If anything, his step-mom. Maybe she killed Mrs. Jefferson in some sort of love affair? So that she could be with Mr. Jefferson, huh?

Stevie, don't you know that I've always tried to love you? I can't replace your mother, but I'll always be here for you >sob<

Please, don't tell me the police chief is going to lose it too! This is the real world, not some trashy dime store novella.

All things point to poor investigations by the police in that case, so to randomly point the finger at me five years later, well, that's appalling.

Please stick to the real world and what's happening around us :sadnew:

Chief, no disrespect, but shouldn't you have brought that up years ago, when it was an actual case? In any case, even if she did kill the first Mrs. Jefferson, we're looking for commies, which is 6 places above murderer in 'America's Top Ten Villain Classes".

Ted, don't go throwing blame on my city! You know, you say you were a soldier, but now I'm beginning to question on which side.

Wait- so no pie? What's up with that?

But I agree, we should get more information.

And no disrespect, son, but you were probably still learning your ABCs when that case was open.

In any case, I uh, see your point. Let's not jump on Ted for throwing the first stone, though.

Where's the Chef? I'm hungry.
