CMP Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Dang. I thought I had actually discovered a clue. Unvote: Ted Harding/Captain JP Matt, frankly, you've barely helped at all, only speaking up when someone says "Matt, are you helping at all?". I really don't think you're cut out for your job. Especially if you're a commie. Vote: Matt Russian Name/Dragonator
Capt.JohnPaul Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 I'll have to go with everyone else. unVote: Matt Liebenston,(Dragonator) vote: def/delores This will stink if we are wrong...
def Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 It seems that out of all the confusion and chaos there are two main votes: Delores and Matt. I think it would be in everyone's best intrest and I voted for... VOTE: Delores/def I am convinced that the Jefferson family is in some way related to communistic activity and therefore I think we should start with the most obvious. My condolence to the Jefferson family if found innocent. Why are we related to commie activities? Because we're a target of commies?! Think about it. There's a map with our house circled. Why would someone circle their own house on a map? Have any of you ever done that? No, far more likely, Patrick is a target for his history in Washington. Or I'm a target of all you think about it.

Fair point, but throwing your blame onto your husband is nothing to be proud of.
iamded Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Fair point, but throwing your blame onto your husband is nothing to be proud of. I thought she meant he's a target for the Communists...
def Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 I thought she meant he's a target for the Communists... Yes, my family is a target because of Patrick's history. I haven't accused him of anything. You have two ears and one mouth people. Listen!
CMP Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 I thought she meant he's a target for the Communists... Oh. I'm feeling like a real moron now. I'm gonna go take a nap.
JimBee Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Blah blah blah. People, listen. The HUAC investigator was brought here because of the communists, so even if he's been quiet, he's probably not a communist himself. In some games... of life, the fact that anyone - regardless of origin - is true, but not this one. We have a mystery on our hands, and right now the evidence points towards Delores. Vote for whoever you want, but I definitely think Delores is a better choice.
def Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 In some games... of life, the fact that anyone - regardless of origin - is true, but not this one. What? We have a mystery on our hands, and right now the evidence points towards Delores. I'm still waiting on the evidence. My husband's previous wife died. The police never investigated it thoroughly. Now my house is on the Commie's radar. That's the "evidence" against me. But, I suppose it's the nature of this game the times that people will seize on anything they can. It seems a few people here are really pushing hard for me, and I hope you'll pay attention to what people are letting paranoia take over their rationale if it ends up being me. I've told a few people in private who I cleared at night, so when I'm gone, at least the information will still be there to help the town. I need to go to work soon take a nap to take in all the finger pointing at me. All I've ever done is try to help my family and my adopted town, but it seems you still consider me an outsider
The Legonater Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Now look- I don't like Delores any more than you guys- probably less. But when there's no evidence, there's no evidence. You can't kill someone without reason. Matt however, was sent here to root out commies- and yet he's barely helped. He's not doing what he was payed for. Isn't that strange to anyone?
Bob Posted January 15, 2011 Author Posted January 15, 2011 Vote Count: Captain Ted Harding (Capt. John Paul): 1; (def) Matt Liebenston (Dragonator): 6; (Shadows, Admiral Ron, Legonater, Cralegoboy, iamded, CallMePie) Dolores Jefferson (Def): 6; (JimButcher, Captain Genero, Walter Kovacs, CorneliusMurdock, brickme, Capt.John Paul) "They're tied? The odd thing is that they're not even in the right direction." one of the National Guard troops says.
JimBee Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 "They're tied? The odd thing is that they're not even in the right direction." one of the National Guard troops says. The odd thing is, you're talking. How would you know? Are you a communist spy?
The Legonater Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 The odd thing is, you're talking. How would you know? Are you a communist spy? Just what I was thinking. And if he isn't a spy, then he's withholding information that could save lives. That's illegal, isn't it, Chief?
Bob Posted January 15, 2011 Author Posted January 15, 2011 The odd thing is, you're talking. How would you know? Are you a communist spy? "I know things, and what I don't know I find out. Wait that doesn't make sense." he says.
The Legonater Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 "I know things, and what I don't know I find out. Wait that doesn't make sense." he says. That sounds vaugely communist. Does anyone here have files on Soviet phyco-creeps hired by Stalin? Nevermind. Let's focus on voting.
iamded Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 Unvote: Detective Liebenschtein (Draggy) Vote: That one National Guard troop (NPC)
The Legonater Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 Hmm... this guard- judging by what has just been revealed- is probably the one who's been talking to Ted. Of course, he'll probably deny that- won't you trooper?
Dragonator Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 Matt however, was sent here to root out commies- and yet he's barely helped. He's not doing what he was payed for. Isn't that strange to anyone? As I said, I'm a busy man, and this is a very busy time of year. I was sent here to lead the investigations and make sure that proper action is being taken against the communists, and I have done so by providing a figure of authority. I may not have contributed to the actual physical investigations much, I know that, but really my job is to make sure the information that we have collectively gathered makes its way back to HUAC properly and is acted on appropriately. My job wasn't to solve this whole mess by myself and find the commies for you useless louts. Do what you will, but I think you'll find the communist pigs have been here in your town a lot longer than the 3 days I have been here. I would encourage you to look at all the copious amounts of evidence we have found and put something together from that, rather than voting for me because you think I'm useless at my job. Did I mention how many of these types of investigations I've lead in the past? Hundreds, and all successful, I might add. I have my methods, and I'll stick to them thank you. And what the hell is that National Guard guy saying, how does he know anything?
Bob Posted January 15, 2011 Author Posted January 15, 2011 Hmm... this guard- judging by what has just been revealed- is probably the one who's been talking to Ted. Of course, he'll probably deny that- won't you trooper? "Errr...what? I just got here. Who's Ted?" he says confused.
The Legonater Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 "Errr...what? I just got here. Who's Ted?" he says confused. See? I wouldn't be able to get a sample of your writing, would you?
Admiral Ron Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 Well, according to the guard, we are going in the wrong direction. So I will trust his judgement. Unvote: Dragonator Unless our loyal guard will spill the beans a little more?

Unvote: Dragonator Unless our loyal guard will spill the beans a little more? "Unfortunately, I cannot tell anymore than I already have. In fact, I've said to much already." he says.
JimBee Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 "Unfortunately, I cannot tell anymore than I already have. In fact, I've said to much already." he says. Indeed. Quit influencing the citizens.
CMP Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 *Cough* Also none of the NPC's are communists. *Haaaack* Sorry. I trust fellow military officers. Unvote: Dragonator/Matt Russian Name This is an unexpected turn of events. Now we've got nearly nothing to work off of.
CorneliusMurdock Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 Stevie, what are you talkin' about? If you're referrin' to the notes that were written for Ted in the Hotel, we know who wrote those. The hotel is owned by Franklin White and he signed the notes himself. There was no mystery about that. It's a completely different set of notes that the mayor was talkin' about. Pay attention, kid. I don't think this Guard guy knows his butt from a hole in the ground. Anyone remember what Bob said about red herrings earlier?
