Posted January 12, 201114 yr Some fun building with the Prince of Persia theme, but not really related to the film... Edited January 12, 201114 yr by mikey
January 12, 201114 yr Very Nice MOC ! The wall design is awesome and the minifigures look all great too. A nice addition to the Prince of Persia MOCs The Dark Blue and green do look a little odd in that brown/tan world of bricks. Why not go for some Dark Red and soem brown perhaps ?
January 12, 201114 yr I like the bed, but I think it is not a very confortable one for first look But I would like to see some amazing stuff, like a fountain, a typical persian statue , or a just table.
January 12, 201114 yr I really like all the wall detailing, and the little statue behind the emperor. The only thing I think could improve it would be to put some more furniture in it, I just think it looks a little empty. But other than that, it's a great MOC! Well done!
January 13, 201114 yr This is a lovely vignette mikey! The colors and various details perfectly fit a Persian structure. Very well done!
January 13, 201114 yr Author Thanks for all the positive comments from you all, they are all appreciated . I deliberately choose a minimal approach to furniture in the attempt to create a sense of space and grandeur to the scene, and also this guy has no need for a table, everything is delivered for him! Very Nice MOC ! ... The Dark Blue and green do look a little odd in that brown/tan world of bricks. Why not go for some Dark Red and soem brown perhaps ? Cheers. I did not realise you could get 1x3 Tile in Dark Red (essential to keep the bed together), I should have checked BrickLink first! I was not impressed with Lime Green for the bed either, and would have preferred a richer colour, but because I needed that tile I thought it was the best option.
January 13, 201114 yr Very nice build! I like the effect the tan arch creates! The lady on the left is not very happy?
January 15, 201114 yr Author Very nice build! I like the effect the tan arch creates! The lady on the left is not very happy? The 1x3 Tan arch was not really intentional, because the wall is at an angle held by hinge plates it needed to be 7 studs long, so placing the 1x3 arch was really the only thing I could do. But I really do like how it turned out. As for the unhappy lady, she is always moody!
