HumanPackMule Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Have you given any thought to do the Ver. Ka renditions? They seem like they would be easier to do especially in Shenlong's case, since the arm doesn't extend. Quote
OrangeKNight Posted August 13, 2011 Author Posted August 13, 2011 Sorry, my bad. I misread your post and thought you said you had already finished them over the weekend. I kind of like the Endless Waltz versions, though, but maybe they'd be a bit too difficult to make as LEGO models, because they're much bigger and more complex than their original counterparts? Can't wait to see the others you're making . I wouldn't really say they're bigger, and complexity varies, but honestly some just don't appeal to me, like Deathscythe custom, as far as I'm concerned Deathscythe Hell, and even the Original are far superior. Even Heavyarms Custom has good foundations but i nteh end it just feels very top heavy and cluttered. Have you given any thought to do the Ver. Ka renditions? They seem like they would be easier to do especially in Shenlong's case, since the arm doesn't extend. as far as the Ver.Ka versions, its kinda the same hit-or-miss boat the EW designs end up in. Not that I can't appreciate them, Wing and Shenlong are cool(and actually have some logical links to the original designs compared to say DeathScythe >.>), I even painted up a 1/100th Master Grade Wing Gundam Ver. Ka. but I still hold the Origianl Wing design superior, its much more dynamic while despite having less "detail". Might also help that I got into Gundam Wing waaaaay back when, like 10-ish years ago or something, and all this EW and Ver Ka stuff is pretty recent to me. Its practically the root to all my mecha fan-dom. Mike Quote
OrangeKNight Posted August 13, 2011 Author Posted August 13, 2011 Just did Deathscythe; The First post will be updated in just a bit. Mike Quote
OrangeKNight Posted August 15, 2011 Author Posted August 15, 2011 I just added Sandrock to the First Post Quote
OrangeKNight Posted August 17, 2011 Author Posted August 17, 2011 Aright, I'm finally out of Gundam Models to take pictures of ;p I also took this group shot to kinda top off everything; Mike Quote
Si-MOCs Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 I know very little about Gundams. I barely know what they look like, but these are fantastic. I've seen super huge ones before, but the amount of detail and articulation you've packed into these are fantastic! Well done. Quote
Khorne Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Wing Zero looks amazing . I love how he can turn into his flight mode . Job well done! Sandrock and Deathscythe look great, as well. Quote
OrangeKNight Posted August 17, 2011 Author Posted August 17, 2011 Wing Zero looks amazing . I love how he can turn into his flight mode . Job well done! Sandrock and Deathscythe look great, as well. Not Wing Zero, just Wing! ;p Mike Quote
Khorne Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Not Wing Zero, just Wing! ;p Mike Oh, I'm sorry. It's been a while since I last saw the series. I did a quick google search, but I can't seem to find anything on Wing Zero . Which one was that again? Quote
OrangeKNight Posted August 17, 2011 Author Posted August 17, 2011 (edited) Wing Zero was the Origainl Gundam, but it was deemed too powerful, Wing, Deathscythe, Heavyarms, Shenlong and Sandrock are all derived from the Wing Zero design. It actually wasn't even built until about midway in the series. Mike Edited August 17, 2011 by OrangeKNight Quote
Vindicare Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 Wow, you really did a fantastic job on all of them. Instantly recognizable, even at this scale. Let's see you Tackle Tallgeese. I loved that one. Quote
